Anyone could tell me which modem i should choose from this lists below,
Huawei
E8278
E5577
E5377
E5372
E5776

The e5776 at most expensive better but i always travel and online all the time, and during that time the device will be connected to power supply all time...should i choose e8278 ? But i worry about the signal strength without connecting external antenna...would the 3 mifi work better in signal strength.

Happy E5776 user here. The battery last 10 hours or 8 hours if your signal is bad.

You need to carry another power bank for E8278.

[Want to Ask] Mobile Wifi device

recommendation

my friend wants to use her umobile RM28 package for internet only, and she wants to buy the Nexus 6P. Which sadly is not a dual sim phone. She already has a Maxis sim.

So i suggested her to buy a mobile wifi. Currently I'm using TP-Link M5250, and when turning it on, it takes some time. She wanted a faster one.

Any good mobile wifi device to recommend? Able to be turned on quicker. 3G is enough i guess.

Any recommendation? Too many choices in Garage Sales and Lelong. Would prefer actual review and recommendation from MIFI users.

I'm using Aztech 4G MIFI + Powerbank. http://www.lowyat.net/2014/38516/lightning...and-power-bank/

Adv - cheapest 4G MIFI available in the market.

Disadv - bulky, loose charging usb port which can cause charging issues.

I am curious. Lets say I am planning to purchase a U-Mobile Hero P98 package that comes with 30gb data and I have zero intent to make any celullar calls. Would it work with a mifi router for data sharing purposes?

what's the best/reliable 4G LTE router to be used with umobile p98 30gb plan?

i dont think i need portable 4G mifi, prefer fixed 4G router for home use instead.

I also have a similar question. Wanted to use the broadband with umobile hero p98 since no stramyx in my area (bandar penawar johor). mine will be for house use. So no need to be mobile or need long battery life.

So what is the best MIFI that have a good reception to get the 4G or hsdpa line and has a strong wifi range and connection??

thanks.

btw noob here, help confirm
I want to check whether the device support both 2.4GHz and 5GHz or not
most website not mention this thing, so i googled a bit about wifi protocol.

so if the spec mention: Wi-Fi Protocol IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac,
by using reference here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IEEE_802.11
i conclude the modem support both 2.4 n 5GHZ.
correct or not?

Not worth your money to buy them.

You can get them at a cheaper cost via Bundled Plan from telcos.
