Guys. thinking of changing engine since my old engine need to overhaul d, im deciding between ef-jl 3piston and jbjl 4piston any advise?

ef-jl is 660na carb... ef-rl is turbo... i did a review last few post...

l5 all can masuk kancil, but l6 the aircond part cant.ned to use back the kancil one..others, all the same..

hi all, Im owner of kancil round light ex660..

how to change the rear drum brake to disc brake? can I still use back the old rim 12`inch? how much will be the cost ?

my brake current front brake easily lock the tire when press abit hard...

how to change? haha.. need to ask foreman la.. you need to change min 13 inch rim (as what budakhops said before) the cost? one set of rear disc brake will cost about 600.. not including installation.

kancil is too light.. thats y its lock quicker.. my car also face the same thing.. but only emergency break la.. some more i dunno how to drive fast..

yup, emergency brake is scary, very easy to lock... that y i think it will be more efficient if use all the wheel to brake..

if I change the rear brake disc, do I need to change larger front brake disc to balance the braking power ?

good idea.. actually stopping power rely on front disc break. if u upgrade it, it will have more stopping power. and u will lock the tyre easily tongue.gif . maybe its time for you to check the tyre thread. just an opinion on that.

how big(mm) is the l2 piston...??my fren ckp bole bore something and upgrade to slightly bigger piston...sape2 ade info regarding this...?

if my brain is correct, standard l2 is 68mm.. 660cc 3piston block can rebore until 72mm piston.. thats the max and the safe line. larger thn that, u hve ticking bomb under the hood.

i plan to upgrade my engine slow2 finish mid of next year....if rebore kena tuka block 850 or 1000cc ke...?
my plan is to change a part each month or more if got cash la

Successfully endorsed my l5 efrl today..total damage : RM60 + rm35 (fail for 1st time, rear brake leak)..replace both brake axle (rm75 plus labour)..total damage rm170...

location: puspakom bangi.

will post picture and guide to endrose later tonite..with photo also!...



spoiler a bit..xD..

clean the engine bay as puspakom guy advised..a lot oil leaking from the halfcut actually.the workshopd didnt clean betul2.=(..

rebore need to be done if u want to fit in larger piston.. if in bahasa pasar, korek blok la.. no need to change to 850cc block unless u have lots of money and time to do engine endorsement again.. haha.. if u rebore, better skali jalan overhaul and replace the current gasket to metal gasket. just to be safe in future if u want to run more than 1bar boost. alang2 turun engine tu replace the clutch.. use exedy 3 puck with double pressure plate (prefer ujang racing double pressure).

radiator? stock radiator is enough i think.. im using stock radiator without any problem.. hose? change la if want to be safe and want to touch up your engine bay.. biggrin.gif dont forget to change to radiator stopper too.

walbro fuel pump? no need lah.. not reliable.. only can last for 2 years.. prefer you to change to evo fuel pump.. much more reliable and almost as good as walbro.. and quieter. fuel regulator better buy genuine. if not it will leak easily. prefer works fuel regulator, dont have imitation and life time warranty some more.

service and change drive shaft? why not this will be your 1st in the list? hahaha.. up to you..

rebore and change injector. rebore i already explain. injector u need to have at least 240cc injector.. this is for the start.. maybe combine with fuel regulator u can run 1.2 bar boost safely.. but need to run wideband tuning to check the afr. running rich: poor fc ,running lean: head will crack, running stoich: better fc and yeah!! happy boosting.. haha thumbup.gif

high cam. need this if u want to extend the power band at higher rev. why do you need this tho? u will suffer at lower rev and ur engine not smooth anymore.. mcm naik kuda nnt.. adjustable cam pulley. ko nk buat krete drag ke ape ni? haha.. this is to retard or advance your engine ignition.. retard ignition improve acceleration. advance ignition will make the engine rev smooth till higher rev. done this only at workshop have tools to measure engine ignition.

extractor and wastegate, can improve your engine a lot.

err.. why u not planning to do fmic? u dont have problem with over heating after do this, plus it makes ur car pull better

turbo upgrade takde ke bang? piston da besar siap upgrade fuel line, extractor bagai xkn rhf3 jgk.. hahaha

last sunday i clean my engine bay.. bought RM3 cleaner called degreaser. i dont have to sental anything.. just spray everything at the engine bay. and wash it by tembak air paip.. wallah!! bersih berkilat menjilat.. (this chemical is quite strong, need to wash it quickly if not the paint will come off). good for you passed the engine endorsement bro. so guys, why wait? please lah upgrade to turbo.. kehkehkeh.. (specially dedicated to bigbonez) brows.gif
