QUOTE(Jjdesu @ Feb 16 2012, 06:04 PM) 4.0.2.A.0.62 So hard to say, coz that i dont want update to .62, some user say nothing improvement for our region in there. For battery drain issues, now i combine kernel .283 in my .42 fw like the solution in xda forum. But still in test. cant get the result yet..

Some minor annoyances with the phone, though.
The 3 keys at the front are too soft and will be easily pressed by accident.
LED notification light is at a very awkward and bad position. Might as well don't have it.

I wanted to give you some more information about Sony’s intended purchase of Sony Ericsson and what it means for you. Some things won’t change at all. For example, your existing warranty will remain completely valid and you’ll still get the same great service and support that you’ve been used to. But you will see some important new benefits. Your Sony Ericsson phone already features great Sony technology. But in future, you can expect even more leading-edge Sony capabilities – and easy connectivity with other Sony products including TVs, PCs and tablets to allow you to share content seamlessly across multiple screens. There will also be more opportunities to enjoy premium entertainment content from Sony including music and film services from the Sony Entertainment Network. The first smartphone product from Sony, available this Spring, will be the new Sony Xperia™ S Click here to find out more about this exciting new Android handset. We’re really excited about the future and we’d like to keep in touch with you as we become part of Sony. To help us with this, you can update your profile info as usual. We look forward to sharing the journey with you.
Thanks
Steve Walker, Chief Marketing Officer, Sony Ericsson

Sexiness +99Here are some pics, not as awesomely amazing quality as the arc S' camera would be since it's a 3 year-old Nokia 5730 ( aka backup phone after seXperia arc S arrived): » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « its sexiest when its naked.

One thing I got from .62 that wasn't there before- light sensor is now activated. It wasn't before and I checked with some system info app it wasn't present. So at least we know 1 improvement

QUOTE(thexs @ Feb 17 2012, 05:43 PM) Same here, hoping our single core phone could cope with it. Has any of you noticed, after the latest update, 4.0.2.A.0.62, our phones are actually working more smoothly against GSII and Galaxy Note (ofcourse still slower in opening large apps). I played with my customer's Note the other day and asked him what's with the delay when accessing the apps page, it's about a half a second delay and browsing through apps is also not as smooth. So I concluded that SII is faster than Note only to realize SII is also not as fast when opening the apps page as Arc.

Added on February 18, 2012, 2:06 pmQUOTE(pityboi @ Feb 18 2012, 11:04 AM) its sexiest when its naked.[SIZE=7][COLOR=red]+1 not once i using my arc naked tho i know it is sexiest. two reasons - 1) the phone look to fragile n if it fall naked, i cant imagined wat kind of damage@scracth happen to the phone. 2) i heard the chrome part on side of the phone is can peel off in due tym.. n i hate it. i experienced this b4 wit my w550 navigation button.
