Nvrmind bro. Shouldn't take long to complete. Just make sure they do the drilling and other installation for your locks etc outside. Saw dust is hard to clean and can find its way all over the place.

Hi sifus, any idea what is the best to be used to pain an already treated wood door? ? ? =)

Should I use varnish, polyurethane, door stain, etc.? Which is the correct type to use?

my room doors are only 31 inches wide. apparently the smaller size is an odd size and thus if the door is custom made, it is more expensive. my contractor quoted 480 without paint but include installation - apparently nyatoh door. Cutting a 34 inch door I think looks very ugly and thus i went ahead with the contractor. Other door shops quoted me about 340-380 per door for a standard 34 inch door

The door shops charge about RM150 per door for varnishing. They have some natural wood colour selection. Finishing is much better than doing wood staining manually and finished item looks much better.

Kotador are reliable and I'm happy with the work that they did for my house. They also provide door staining which is done straight at the factory and heck lot better finish than getting it done on site.

A real guru will do staining on site much better. I have experience from factory, and on site. On site is much better, especially the door frame need to be stain together.
