Sometimes I am at awe how stupid you were, when u assume you are the most intelligent among /k.

U know the restaurant does not slaughter the chicken, but they bought it in dead state ady right?

U know how to the halal meat should be right?

U know that to slaughter an animal, it must be done by a MUSLIM, right?

So u must know that, if u bought a dead slaughtered chicken from non-Muslim (wet market), u know that there is no way he can produce a halal chicken without losing his profit (i.e hiring a Muslim slaughterer).

Then you should know how halal meat can be non-halal after cooked right? (i.e, cooked alongside with pig meat, using alcohol/wine, using animal oil)

So tell me, why the chicken rice seller no need to get another halal certification?

If u dun wan to bother a heck about the HALAL, then you dun have to bother to market it to a Muslim. Coz, Muslim wont even bother to eat a Non-Halal food.

QUOTE(jAkUn @ Jan 1 2012, 03:14 PM)

*
You also another dead stupid moron. Chicken rice seller dont but from wet market they got no time for it. The wholeseller delivers to them.

Fatwas issued by international jurists and Islamic organisations have ruled that it is permissible to consume food and beverage that contain alcohol at levels that do not intoxicate. These levels are established at a very minimum level range of 0.01% to 0.05%, on the basis that at these levels the amount is not significant in causing intoxication. Thus, the prohibition is directed at the effects of alcohol itself, which is its intoxicating nature.

im or you are not the one making the judgement whether is haram or halal
if you consider it by your dictionary and knowledge is halal, then go for it drink all sandy you want
but if you doubt whether is haram or halal then better to abstain from it

if its for medication purpose then it consider as 'harus' where it is a situation where you have to consume it to get better/live another day, most people called this situation as darurat

Thanks for your explain, appreciate it.So can I say that Cough syrup itself technically consider as non halal, but due to health issue,so it can be acceptable right?

But I know some of the people serious addicted to cough syrup and they drink it on a daily basis so that they can sleep comfortably. Is like addicted to drug and alchohol also

So if muslim is addicted in that case,is that consider haram?

i never buy food that is specifically halal, unless its for convenience sake (ie like in care4)

i don like consuming food which are prayed to other gods (especially halal food). and more so buying it the money goes to another religious group (ie for halal certification).

so really, i abhor halal food.

its blasphemous for me to eat it. i'd go for religiously neutral food anytime possible. i find this more healthy and cleaner and more economically justifiable and rigteousfully good in Jesus' eyes.

hallelujah. lets boycott all halal food.

there is guideline of what is halal or haram, and there are certain of them are not clearly written whether is haram or halal.

and people shouldnt make a big issue if one consume of what is not clearly written as haram or halal. if its not in the guideline and your knowledge conclude that this is halal, go for it

if u drink it without doctor's advice, then its already become addiction. Addiction which leads to self-destruction = HAROM. ie. drugs

tat 1 is belangkas...but not so popular as crab, but if prepped right, very nice 1
usually fishermen only sell, market doesn't, since these thing's hard to come by.
n yes. it is halal. anything that is from the sea is halal, regardless of from whom it is prepped or obtained. but not AMPHIBIANS, these guys is absolutely forbidden.

Ok horseshoe crab notworthy.gif notworthy.gif notworthy.gif

The cainis here dont eat them, only those muslim with dubious IMM papers who claims to be local malays eat them. They are poisonous if they are not prepped properly before cooking.

On 2 alam animals, it is khilaf ~ some jurists say yes, some say no. Those who say haram bcos they interpret since frogs are forbidden, the same applies to other amphibians/2 alam animals (there's a specific hadith that prohibit eating frogs).

The rule is: Origin of all things is halal, except when it has been prohibited by the texts.

agreed. pipel in malaysia is stuck with syafie's or/and text book. pipel need to learn why it is haram or halal base on what, what principle it use.

yes there khilaf about this between Muslim scholar(ulama') worldwide but Malaysian ulama' accepted convention is 2 alam animal is haram or makruh(can but better if don't eat) thus on common people level like us, it is better to say it is not edible by Muslim. But I'm not saying I reject other ulama'...

wait I change my post from Haram to Haram/Makruh
