QUOTE(lim360 @ Jan 1 2012, 03:40 PM) Icic...............but one thing, those cough syrup you got from Clinic also consider as alcohol,if u consume,it will something like drunk and get sleepy. if its for medication purpose then it consider as 'harus' where it is a situation where you have to consume it to get better/live another day, most people called this situation as daruratSo in that case, mind to explain how to deal with this kind of situation? This topic is interesting and I want to know more Added on January 1, 2012, 3:48 pm QUOTE(slimey @ Jan 1 2012, 03:44 PM) no body got drunk drinking sandy im or you are not the one making the judgement whether is haram or halalalcohol is the one that is intoxicating.......take out alcohol from a beer and you got sparkling drink that's all if you consider it by your dictionary and knowledge is halal, then go for it drink all sandy you want but if you doubt whether is haram or halal then better to abstain from it This post has been edited by boyot: Jan 1 2012, 03:48 PM |

there is guideline of what is halal or haram, and there are certain of them are not clearly written whether is haram or halal.
and people shouldnt make a big issue if one consume of what is not clearly written as haram or halal. if its not in the guideline and your knowledge conclude that this is halal, go for it |

QUOTE(lim360 @ Jan 1 2012, 03:53 PM) Thanks for your explain, appreciate it.So can I say that Cough syrup itself technically consider as non halal, but due to health issue,so it can be acceptable right? YesBut I know some of the people serious addicted to cough syrup and they drink it on a daily basis so that they can sleep comfortably. Is like addicted to drug and alchohol also So if muslim is addicted in that case,is that consider haram? if its for medication, is halal but if its for addiction or any other things that is not related to medication, then is consider as haram |

QUOTE(happy4ever @ Jan 1 2012, 03:53 PM) i never buy food that is specifically halal, unless its for convenience sake (ie like in care4) Yes you people do have that kind of optioni don like consuming food which are prayed to other gods (especially halal food). and more so buying it the money goes to another religious group (ie for halal certification). so really, i abhor halal food. its blasphemous for me to eat it. i'd go for religiously neutral food anytime possible. i find this more healthy and cleaner and more economically justifiable and rigteousfully good in Jesus' eyes. hallelujah. lets boycott all halal food. its ridiculous to think how the state of food can make us fight each other |
