the monthly deduction (PCB) is norml but whatever it is, you still need to declare during filing.

Why they need to chase? They already partially got the tax liao..only waiting for your fren to declare. once he declare, he will kena penalty for sure I think 15% ontop of the chargeable income. in addition to whatever rate he kena.

never declare? your friend sure will be on trouble if get caught. LHDN will give a couple of forms to declare not for the current year but also the previous years he/she fails to declare the income tax

RM8.5k every month, if already every month gaji kena potong pay to income tax, then when every year declare, usually still can take back some money he dont want declare = kena penalty, and lose the rebate |
