Grik - Tanah Merah route
scenery cantek tapi area highway Grik tuh mmg sucks sket jalan dia...byk potholes pasal byk lori n bas lalu kat area sana n jalan tak maintain sgt
dulu time aku sekolah...ada jalan Lenggong lama, tuh mmg giler korner baik punya...tgh tido pon ko tahu ko dah smp area mana...haha
skang ni jalan dah straight n kurang corner mengancam....

Gua Musang route
better sket la dari highway Grik tuh....sebab diorang byk sket maintain jalan....
just time hujan kena hati hati sket...kot2 ada tanah runtuh....
aku pernah sekali kena pot hole kat situ..tgh layan corner, masuk lubang..bunyi kuat giler...so mmg tahu tayar confirm gone...
kuar corner jer...tgk berderet keta tepi jalan nasib sama ngan aku...
tukar la tyre sorang2 dalam hujan renyai...haha

other than that, kena hati2 sket pasal byk construction dekat Merapoh & Bukit Tunku..diorang tgh wat jalan baru

for the record tht time u on stock spring..now R3 kan? notworthy.gif tua2 berisi?lol.....
nope..
ill upload few pic...searching inside my external...gimme a minute
thumbup.gif the road condt...nearer krai is ok...but on 1st climbing u can see many pothole...my only advice is...overtake as many as u can as most car difficult to overtake once u climb the hill....basically from my experience there`s a 5 climbing area...each got it own tricky corner + the overtaking lane is not tht much...beware bus coming as they will eat ur lane...coz we`re climbing and they doing downhill laugh.gif n btw no petrol pump station...the only is at sumewhere krai area, new shell station..i just pump in half tank..rm30(in tank got probably arnd rm20) my next pump @ alor star town....best scenery is at bridge Banding area thumbup.gif ...next trip is...kt > penang night drive...its just hopefully no "Cik Jah" crossing...dont say full name...they will wait for u seriously sweat.gif ....but tht time i use gps...soo my gps suggested to thru pengkalan hulu>baling>sik>gurun exit to highway..save around 100+km from main regular road..
*
Imo, grik route is much better than gua musamg as there is quite a lot of overtaking lanes. Banding is the best scenery.

Using things like VS theoretically can help better performance and FC since it supposedly create a more stable voltage source.

The thing is, by how much? and whether or not its worth the price. IMO, AT will have more benefit compared to AT.

My, verdict: As long as you happy, its well worth it.

Just like using LCP (like me). The price is quite expensive compared to others mods but the effect are the least minimal. By I'm happy with it.

BTW, arrived at penang after 5 hours drive from kb. Damn, grik route it so bad. Potholes+rough road surface everywhere until I didn't bother to count anymore. Surely my alignment are all screw up. Hopefully my rims are OK.

Alternator will still have the same stress, whether got VS or not. Capacitor in VS doesn't work as voltage storage, but as the name implies to stabilize it. When alternator generate voltage, it is AC (alternate current) but the car electronics operates using DC (direct current). Thus, conversion needed to be done. This works well if the alternator is at constant speed, but since its rotation depend on engine speed, it hard to get a straight level DC output, instead, its will fluctuate a bit. Capacitor will store some of it when it is higher (charging) and release it back when it is low (de-charge), thus making it more stable. But this only helps a bit.

Using relay means that your accessories will be powered directly from the battery instead of the alternator, thus will be better and in theory, last longer due to more stable voltage.

Capacitor usually referred as charge storage, not voltage. Voltage storage usually referred to battery. But since voltage are related to charge, its can be interchangeable, but unproper.

Added on March 6, 2012, 12:07 amSo both also an energy storage system. One in form of electro chemical (battery) and electric field (capacitor). Because the amount of energy storage in capacitor is low (compared to battery given the same physical size), it is unpractical to use it as energy (voltage) storage.

Added on March 6, 2012, 12:11 amThus, capacitor commonly use in filter to remove certain frequency. In the vs case, removing the ripple from the dc voltage, thus resulting smooth/stable voltage.

Quite hard to explain... Brain sleep already.... sleep.gif

R3 extractor is expensive even after discount. Better get marco.

I thought they have huge discount like when I bought R3 suspension for rm600 in 2008.
