Don't worry, the Prius cost more than Camry for UMW. You are getting a good deal out of it. Full spec (almost) car, with hybrid technology. I also find it very spacious.

When is the next batch of prius c reach penisular? Cos mine suppose to wait for next batch (this coming batch in april) but I'm still dunno the estimate time of arrival yet. Anyone able to advice?

1600km a month is nothing, thats very normal. one year only 20000km.

myvi average town + highwya is 12km/liter.
prius assume 20km/liter.

one year 20000km= 1667 liter for myvi and 1000liter for prius C.
so everyyear you save 667liter of petrol. that is nothing. 1 liter rm2 you only save rm1200 a year.

sorry to say, petrol is still cheap here. When it is rm2.90 per liter then we can talk again. rm2000 a year for rm2.9 per liter.
so, no, any rm50k car is more suitable for you.

Hi all new Prius c owner, how many mileage can you guys achieve for full tank? My first full tank can last me 680-700++km which is about 19.7km/l. With this mileage, it is slightly better than normal car. However, I assume that hybrid can achieve more mileage than mention above.

Are you guys out there manage to achieve more mileage mention above?

In general, when the state of charge is over 70% or so, the computer tries extra hard to use battery power. The battery is "full" at 80%, and the computer won't let it charge any further. The target level is 60% (6 bars); cruising on the highway at a constant speed will almost always leave you there. Even being 2-3% away from a 60% SoC is enough to make a small but measurable difference in the amount of energy drawn from or put into the battery while accelerating.

PriusC steering is assisted by an independent DC electric motor which operates even when the fuel engine is stopped or off. This Electric Power Steering EPS produces a high frequency motor whine from the rotation of worm and ring gears.  Some models locate the EPS motor near the steering rack under the hot engine bay. However in our PriusC, which has very little space in the engine bay, the DC motor is placed just below the steering wheel. Toyota should do a better job to insulate this noise that can be heard clearly especially during parking or when vehicle motion is slow.

More importantly, check to see if your EPS is accurate, no vibration, smooth and light (and feel lifeless).  If so, this is normal, and most people like it.

No Autolock after move the car or press the break => Talked to SA, ask me come back during 1k service and ask technician to help to reconfigure it

Anyone experience this? Can it be really reconfigured?

Hi. Mine have auto lock when speed at 8km/h. The sale person said do not have but to my surprise it autolock and unlock as well. when ignition off. The trick is you don't lock the door from the door control before moving.
