I booked mine around same time as your...but supposed to get it last Saturday but I haven't get my banker's cheque ready 

black. supposed to get it end of April or beginning May but my SA is UMW Toyota's "old hand" (in English we called it veteran), so he can push till get it this month. 

My previous Vios, 2 of my friends' Vios, my mom's boss punya old Camry and Altis also get from him, so we kinda know him very well already 

i also have booked around  feb in UMW tmn midah, the sa told me blue color will have to wait long.. silver is faster .. my order is around 3 mths... hope to get by may....

I collected my C ytd and very stress while driving back cuz new car 

today went thru KL-Cyber and Cyber-KL managed to achieved around 20km/l

after driving from KL-Cyber, Cyber-KL..the itchiness of modding suddenly come back 

probably will add bars for better cornering when it release 

driving constantly 110-120 using MEX h/way

certainly is more quiet than Insight 

but damn...I don't know how to play with the player...cannot adjust the bass and treble setting? 

Prius C should be excellent for city driving with its very low fuel consumption in start/stop traffic and good pickup acceleration.  As a mid hatchback, it has good maneuverability in crowded places like a small Myvi but in a better body designed for greater safety and comfort - the back seat is wide and deep almost like a home sofa.  The doors can open out big for smooth access of children with heavy bags.

Unless its price AND maintenance are considered not affordable, Prius C has almost a perfect balance for your purpose.  We are taking delivery of a Pearl White Prius C this week mainly for my wife to send and fetch our kid (Primary 1 too), replacing our Peugeot 206 which is 6inch shorter.    Our current other ride is Kia Sportage 2011 which is a good value buy with its many modern features.

"The prius C has no belts.  It has a low friction timing chain of metal that last longer. 

The C has an electric power steering, Electric water pump, electric Aircon pump.  NO belts here.

Very little rubber to wear out in this Prius C engine."  The Bad here is that only Toyota trained and equipped workshop can service it.

This is our first Toyota.  God bless us with a small good income and we think it is time to change car due to our kid now in Pri.1 in a city school.  The fuel saving benefit may take many years to recoup the extra cost of this new car.  Thanks also to duty free for hybrid car, and the Japanese government incentives for a less polluting car.

The interior design is very subjective.  It is made from eco material to be long lasting and easy cleaning.  The off-cut design is to create balance and visual space for both left and right front passengers, and I think it succeeded well in this goal.

Please give a review and feedback of driving Prius C, especially on handling, speed, and fuel consumption.  Do you know how much per service and how long between service?

you should test drive yourself, but for sure I always compared with my vios cuz my vios handling very good cuz of all the bars i put in...so now i am waiting bars for Prius C 

Service is follow the normal car service. 1k, 5k, 10k.....no specific for hybrid car...just follow how you normally service your car.

so has anyone asked the SA about disabling the safety connector? can this be done? i am interested to get the dvd-avn if i can play dvd while in motion..
anyone know what size of the oem dvd-avn we should get if we buy outside? thanks

Just got my silver prius c from kajang just now. Drive around town till midnite lol. I must say that the spec of the car itself is nothing, very common, but the technology really wow me. The door alarm lock like iphone, can play swipe2. Haha. Still cant get used to it every time lock/unclock the car with just swiping the handle.
Can get around 20km/ltre if light footed. But i dont think my mom knows how to control the footwork.
On the road, i get really distracted when reading the info on the screen, although usefull, i cant give a damn bout it when driving or my car start going to another lane. Or maybe im still not used to it
The rest are pretty common and similar like how the other forumers has done their review.
All in all, the car is relly worth it. And most importantly, my mom loves it

Ok, so my plate number is gone after travelling frm kl to gombak. Second time getting the toyota frm the same place and the front plate gone.

Our Prius C is imported from Toyota Motor Asia Pacific Pte Ltd  with AP granted to OTOMOBIL SEJAHTERA SDN BHD, a subsidiary of UMW.
On the customs declaration form, FOB cost is RM66,198.43 plus Freight RM3,009.69and insurance RM58.88.  10% Sales Tax of RM6,926.70 is payable while  Import and Excise duties are exempted.
Total cost is RM76,193.70 at Port Klang.  UMW has to add local distribution and marketing costs.  Selling Price is RM93,967 (OTR is RM97,000).  It seems the margin for Prius C could be below 18% !

If no exemptions,  30% Import Duty is RM20,780.10 , 75% Excise Duty is RM67,535.33 and then 10% Sales tax is RM15,758.24  for this CBU car!

Full CBU Japan except for local Reverse Sensors and Alarm systems with cabin motion sensors, and the stick-on number plates.
Audio headunit is oem from Pioneer DEH-M8247ZT a 2009 model with 4x40W output and value about RM220 online.
