Im using multimedia. At the moment just using normal 4gb pendrive, and plan to buy either 8gb or 16gb cruzer, but yet dunno if the HU can handel the pendrive capasity or not. Plug 8gb pendrive once, but it seem like the player hang, but not sure if its because of my broken pendrive or what. coz even pendrive plug to my lappy also got same probs.

Yeah still contemplating on the SE or non SE.

I tried my friend's Myvi Premium, it doesn't corner so well. So I thought it was the same with all Myvis. But then I tried my friend's last generation SE, it corners pretty well.

I'm not too concerned with the power of the car as the 1.3L engine is already enough power for me, I'm just wondering if I should get the SE version for better cornering or get the premium and maybe change the suspension later to improve the cornering of the car.

Hmmm... how much would it cost to replace Myvi's suspension?

Someone was saying that the gearbox is the same between 1.3 and 1.5.. so there might not be a difference in larger cc better fc?

I too am considering the Fiesta S before this. But it's hard to resist a better value for money.

The RPM meter does not entirely represent your car's fuel consumption - it only measures the rotating speed of the crankshaft. As for both engines running at the same speed, a 1.5L engine will not necessarily generate more torque than a 1.3L as it depends on many configuration factors.

In the event that the 1.5L does generate more torque than an equivalent 1.3L (all configurations same, only displacement differs) at a given RPM, the 1.5L still consumes more fuel than the other.

To get fuel consumption EQUIVALENT to the 1.3L (again, same configuration, different displacement), your crankshaft would definitely be rotating at a lower RPM for the engine to output torque EQUIVALENT of a 1.3L at a slightly higher RPM. Energy cannot be created or destroyed, only changed to another form.

GUYS, today i brought my car for 1st service at SEGAMBUT P2 SC...

total price reached about RM192.35

i complained about my front left door where producing "krikkrik" sound...
bugger said already fixed i never hear sound till go back home, today evening i drove to office the same irritating sound back again...
need to complain again...

i fixed buzzer for RM50, seems ok but not sure will giv problem in future, like what i went tru when fixed buzzer at accessories where my total central locking never worked...

then i asked them to check my PLAYER where the DVD movie not displaying but at background its still running even with/without handbrake...
so they asked me to leave the player at SC, will be sent to vendor to recheck again, need to wait for 2 weeks

i never tell him that i have bypassed the wires where, acc shop guy recommended so can watch DVD while driving.. im not sure whether its giving problem or what..

so after SC i quickly brought my car to acc shop and revert that to original setting.. i believe even u bypass it gives problem for watching movie.. lets see after 2 weeks...

Another thing you guys must be very careful is, the SC technician told me there r many cases myvi mirrors get broke and the Multimedia player get stolen..  many customers going tru that..
he said that player from Japan and nearly 5K, i asked him why would they want to steal it...
he said, this player already have GPS/BLUETOOTH/DVD so they took it and sell it to outside myvi users where using flush type panel or any other..

when i heard this i already freaked out...
that thing easily can be removed from the dashboard..one set can be fixed on any myvi...

Go look for Coolmax fibre cover. Should be better than leather seat which will burn your ass if parked under the sun.

Hi. I ordered  Myvi SE 1.5 AT (white) last year with normal radio (not the touch screen). Till now haven't got any news about my car.

The seller said (my cousin), the new myvi 1.5 se with normal radio is still not in production yet. Perodua want to finish up the myvi with touch screen first and then proceed to the normal radio.

Is it true? My cousin promised me that I will get my car this February. Then suddenly he said, maybe gonna get in March. Then dunno la what he's gonna say next.

Any comment?

how much is the myvi 1.5se without touch screen? i tok all the my 1.5 SE price at 56,013 with multimedia system means the touch screen. Got optional without touch screen for 1.5SE?

Not sure if it can fit the Myvi's steering wheel, and the keyhole is exposed to the front - making it easy to destroy the tubular lock.
