QUOTE(cactuscch @ Feb 24 2012, 11:31 PM) I'm also confused whether the i3 model is U36D or U36SD? But i'm pretty sure that U36SD has i5 version. u can get u36sd with i5 processor below 2.7k now I saw someone posted in lowyat that the i3 version U36D selling at RM2299, which is quite good considering the light weight, 8 cells battery and dedicated graphic. The i5 version U36SD is much more expensive at >2.7k or 2.8k Added on February 25, 2012, 3:02 pm QUOTE(rotijon25 @ Feb 25 2012, 09:09 AM) Budget 3k below hp dv6-6c19txSize 14inch or 15.6 inch Processor I7-2670QM Ram 4gb ddr3 abv HDD 500Gb above. QUOTE(SomeoneElse @ Mar 6 2012, 06:27 PM) Hello everyone, good evening. hp -dv6-6c19tx Can you recommend me a laptop for gaming and watching movies + basic use BUDGET: Below RM3500 SCREEN: Around 15 inches Thanks Added on March 6, 2012, 6:58 pm QUOTE(PF T.J. @ Mar 6 2012, 02:45 PM) Hmm, many of the models listed above are quite new... can't really say much on them apart from the specs... by default hp folio come with 1 year carry in warranty...I believe 16GB is more than enough for W7~ Having a hybrid SSD/HDD configuration will mean you'll be able to enjoy both faster performance as well as larger storage capacity... I think you can omit the 5 series from your consideration... because having a dGPU will mean higher heat as well as shorter battery life. Usually a cooler laptop will last longer. Some more your usage doesn't require a dGPU I think its between the HP Folio 3 and Lenovo U300e only, since both offers on-site warranty (I emphasize more on warranty support when it comes to purchasing laptops) u have to upgrade with money if u wan onsite warranty This post has been edited by devour: Mar 6 2012, 06:58 PM |
