Hi, Mr Cow. Your suspicion is correct. Memory swap is a good way of getting rid of the confusing Move to SD function. It is something like now we have an internal memory which can go way up to 32 GB just by changing the size of the SD card.

In my humble opinion, since we have root the phone to enable the use of terminal emulator for Move apps to SD, why not go for another step to swap the memory? Everything run smoothly and doesn't have the fear of apps lag bcos of the SD card as phone memory. 

Hmm.. that's not what I meant. I mean, without Swap memory, you can use "Move to SD" to move app / game into External SD Card. But after you swap memory, it will not be useful anymore because it could have moved to your Internal SD instead... 

maybe u can show what widget that trigger ur data?
on my homescreen only got facebook whatsapp market .. some clock widget but no weather .. thats all..
the problem is when restart not only data but also wifi is turn on ..

another thing .. sometimes my games or app been duplicate .. all those things is in a folder ..
Sometimes the app/games will be duplicate on my app drawer (inside SGW application screen) then in need to re-add again all those apps and games and then those duplicate apps will gone ..

quite confusing . huhu i know .. i think maybe there's some bug or virus inside my SGW .. already scan it with 2 different antivirus / malware and spyware still nothing .. last choice is factory reset but i dont wanna ..

i dont have any Juice Defender ...
i have Lookout but before i have Lookout also facing this problem ..
Other than that .. Easy Task Killer and Easy Battery Checker

However I still run out of memory when trying to install stuffs on my so called "SD" space where actually i still have about 2gb of space in my external sd card....
perhaps it's a gameloft downloader bug then....

I use switch pro widget which  can customize , so I didn't add the data 1 for my widget.

BnG NR is really bloody unstable games, hate when play play har, touchscreen no respond. so uninstalled. 

btw, I'm just install Go Launcher EX, and many themes. it's awesome cool, beautiful and amazing. XD

As explained, the "Move to SD" actually move app to external sd card.

Question for those who did a memory swap. When you use the "Move to SD" in Setting, Manage App, will the app now moved to your internal sd instead?

There are a few ways to verify this:

- Move a big app to your sd, and check the size of storage in "Setting", "Storage". Look for changes in Device memory, USB Storage and SD Card. If your available "SD Card" memory decreased (like the rest of us without memory swap), that mean, your app now is stored in the internal sd.

Or

- Move 1 app to your sd card. Connect your phone to PC, enable USB storage. Now, look for ".android_secure" folder in both drive. This folder contains all encrypted APK that you chose to move to external sd card. Check to see if this folder is in your external sd card or internal sd card. If this is in your internal sd card, that mean, the "Move to SD" feature moved your app into your internal sd.

If this is like what I suspect, swapping memory with vold.fstab will make the "Move to SD" quite useless.

Btw, the Juice Defender really useful? And, what's that Android icon at your statusbar?

I found the answer to this. The first vold.fstab has this problem; "move to sd" will move your app to your Internal SD. So, if you are using this vold.fstab, you have this problem: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.p...95&postcount=22

Fortunately, the author already 'fix' this by creating a second version of vold.fstab that will make the "
Move to SD" move your app to your real external sd card.
