dynamic is like, there's somekind of thing that moves around the magnet when u speak. condenser has a diaphram and a strip thing with electric current (phantom power) and it captures the vibration in the middle. or something like that la hahahah

Added on March 9, 2012, 6:22 pmisaac, this is my first attempt to recording drums. as u know im beginner, not expert. still much to learn.

2 shure PG82 overheads
3 PG56 racks
1 SM57 snare
1 PG52 kick
1 audio technica AT2020 room

drum test + simple Eq

The Samson is around RM250-RM300. xD HAHAHAHA!

Hmm... Some comments lah.
Personally, I like kicks to have a bit more definition and power, especially for metal, and there was some weird reverb going on with the kicks at some point of time too. The ride and crash, definitely need a lot of work smile.gif HAHAHA!
The sanre, okay lah, and the hats sounded okay.

I use Sony headphones when I'm in the studio and Sony earplugs when playing live as IEMs.
