DBKL don't want Ivory. Now they need to settle some outstanding issues between the old company Plaza Rakyat and DBKL and other stakeholders.

Bro, what did you mean by "DBKL don't want Ivory"? I thought Ivory won the tender right?
*
http://www.theedgemalaysia.com/first/25540...kl-dispute.html

Ivory won the tender from Adam Primus, the administrator of Plaza Rakyat Sdn Bhd. But but there are alot more stories to that... and I heard Ministry not keen for Ivory unless...

Yeah saw this thread & wonder what's the selling point of this 2.5kpsf property?

Cannot compare lah... they are commercial and very small size with Hospitality Firm managing it (recall GRR type suites).

Normally commercial type will become more and more expensive.

Hehe thanks boss... but is gonna be very detail now, not just the general info.

Well it is true that many level malls normally people avoid the top floors. Too lazy to go up and check. Example, has anyone walk the highest floor of Publika? If no cinema there, I think upper floors of most malls will die.

QUOTE(HELLO HELLO @ Dec 18 2013, 11:54 PM)
Depend. Depend. Sometimes certain part of ground floor or lg floor can be very dead. Take timesquares as example. The traffic flow is kinda interesting 1st to 4th floor are the hot spots. May be the connection of monorail link bridge and the pedestrian link bridge at 2nd and 3rd floor.

And Sunway pyramid also got certain dead spot at New wing LG floor. Even management also scratch head.

But so far seldom see any retail above 6th floor can do good. Maybe only Tokyo street at pavilion only....huuuhu...
*
Times Square top floors have been dead long time ago, so much so they converted the lots into Berjaya subsidiaries' offices. Out of the total 10 floors initially set for retail, floor 1-4 is considered "ground-to-mid floor" in retail perspective.

When you cut floor 7-10th, there you go, you lose Retail NLA.

I though linda from marketing strategy already fish head  from sunway and another from capital mall. Why will they hire so lack of experience guy like you? I would worry if it does.

Gamuda is going to plan "mall" into thier developmemt. From  kk buz suits to plaza strategy kelana. To robertson mix wholesales. To jh lifestyle mall. To kuang jv mall. Sure they will get dedicated people to make it sustainable right?

next time be at thier agm. Many info there.

At robertson. They plan to have mix of normal shop and wholesales right?

So i guess top floor is the wholesales

But i wish they have more shop for retiring person
Example cat cafe. Dance studio. Vegi dining for us.

Dont give face to you ma.

your comment sound like kidnergarden knowledge.

Some your comment dont sound like consultant at all.

u intent to hide some fact /knowledge / pretent dump or u really are?
*
No wor, I'm just telling you the truth from people in retail perspective. FYI, how people in their jobs normally see things differently from purchasers because we have to deal with technicalities and specification orders.

And sometimes I felt you misinterpret my words just like how most forumers misinterpret news articles here. I did not say the mall will fail given more floors, I'm just indicating what is happening right now that top floors of malls are difficult unless u put Cineplex or Food Court.

Tower 3 will be launched in a few months time. Price is expected to be higher.

The mall will be a higher end type of wholesale. Entirely for leasing only. Mall has F&B retails as well.

All other things regarding Tower 2 has been discussed here before.

Pintaras shares up after bagging RM74mil Warisan Merdeka job for a 1 year job

Warisan Melaka works set to begin
Thursday, 13 March 2014 10:00 Tanu Pandey
http://themalaysianreserve.com/main/news/c...ks-set-to-begin

The foundation for the 118- storey skyscraper Warisan Merdeka project within the enclave of Merdeka Stadium and Stadium Negara will kick off next week with the contract for the works assigned to Pintaras Jaya Bhd’s subsidiary for RM74 million.

The iconic project that is estimated to be worth RM5 billion had been halted for sometime.

Pintaras, in an announcement at the stock exchange yesterday, said its subsidiary Pintaras Geotechnics Sdn Bhd received a commencement date notice dated March 12 this year from PNB Merdeka Ventures Sdn Bhd to undertake foundation works for the proposed building at Warisan Merdeka in Kuala Lumpur (KL).

The said works are to commence on March 17, 2014, with a completion period of about a year,” it said.

The project was earlier expected to start in 2011, and scheduled to be completed in 2015, however, after the delay of almost three years in commencement of works, the completion may take longer.

The overall Warisan Merdeka development will be on 19 acres and the heritage stadiums, the site is set to be another major landmark in KL.

As per the initial plan, the two stadiums will be retained as national heritage buildings.

The development was supposed to consist of a complex for a mall, residences and an office skyscraper.

With 118 floors, the height of the building will exceed 500m, surpassing the current tallest buildings in Malaysia, the 452m Petronas Twin Towers.

An initiative by Permodalan Nasional Bhd (PNB), the building may also be used as the PNB headquarters.

Pls read wat i wrote. I wrote general malaysia.

not kv wo.

so careless. How to become good accountant?

2 appology now.

If you wrote Malaysia, then is confirmed UP on aggregate basis.

FYI, the Johor State average residential and transacted for new launch prices went up like mad last year. This is reasonable given that the land prices in some parts of Johor, particularly the Iskandar Malaysia Zone have shot up alot in recent times. Similar but smaller growth trends seen in other secondary cities in Malaysia including Sabah and Sarawak. According to some, Sarawak has become the new playground in 2014.

*Note: my KL means Greater KL or Klang Valley.
