They can clear your dead shrimp too, just leave the dead shrimp there and you'll see only the shell after "the exquisite meal"..

guys, sorry for the stupid question, but after u cycle the tanks, do u check the water parameter like ph, gh n etc before putting in shrimps and after 1 week or so?
btw, does diy co2 safe for shrimps?

Wa u all rare shrimps like go science lab. Last time i use the paper strip all in one with kh gh n ph. But not very good. Around rm1 per strip. Very expensive after awhile so i just wait my tank to cycle. Usually see the response from the shrimps.(breeding, the little bugs in the tank, activity of shrimps)

Hahaha no expert la..but last time also bought all the testers like u all but feel abit wasted to buy all those. Its expensive. So just wait until can see those bugs/shrimp activity to save money lo..i poor ma..hahah

Hm.... DIY fan? i'm using 2.5ft aquarium with fan but still can't make it down to 2.6c mostly 2.7c ~ 2.8c. need to on A/C or during heavy rain will only be able to reach 2.6. Still I'm guessing the bigger the fan, the cooler it can get huh

I had a chiller, set to 23 degree, ph around 6.2-6.8. maybe some anti chlorine if i add additional water
