^ try RCS since they are kinda hardy shrimps and cheap too
if yours they are dying in youre tank, u must have done something really really wrong with your tank ecosystem. also, they breed like rabbits too if they are in good condition. try ask L3()nZ if he is selling some. RCS colour grading names: Cherry Grade Sakura Grade High Grade Sakura / Low Grade Fire Red Fire Red Grade Painted Fire Red Grade |

QUOTE(ngweileon @ Mar 20 2012, 09:15 PM) so i try to get RCS? last few week i get CRS and all end out of dying at my tank... and now im going to try RCS.. and roughly how much their cost?? LFS mean?? and did you know where can i get those shrimp?? and how to take care of them?? wah...first try already CRS? so much money eh? im not a pro..still begginer like you, can ask other experience gurus in the thread~ After getting ure shrimps, you should acclimitize them first, so they dont get shocked with the new water peremetrs... i didnt do this first time, lost 5 in one go All the neccesary steps of acclimitizing can be found in the first page, water parameter settings and how to take care of them can also be found in the first page too~ LFS = Local fish store/ Local fish shop Where to find them, most big store lfs sells them but they may selling different grade RCS shrimp with different pricing. Alternatively, you can buy them in lowyat forum pet store section, which is way more cheaper than buying in LFS. So far, the average pricing for those RCS grade after surveying in a few place: Cherry Grade - RM1-2/each Sakura Grade - RM2-4/each High Grade Sakura / Low Grade Fire Red - RM3-8/each Fire Red Grade - RM6-12/each Painted Fire Red Grade - saw in Singapore, not for sale.. all damn red weh, except joints in the legs food colouring pellets? |

QUOTE(flipmode @ Mar 27 2012, 07:54 AM) i think maybe the water/ sponge that hold the plant have something to do with it. after i soak for about 4 hours in normal tap water, replant in the tank, check back the pH. surprisingly, the pH is 6.9. i got 2 red cherry shrimp die eventhough i change their tank. maybe the corrode zinc metal that tying up the sponge may be the cause of it or the little stone that act as the weight wrapped inside the sponge might leaked something? |
