Skyrim is very playable even at 30fps. Make sure you update to latest version.

Min = 32
Max = 59
Average = 56

Without TurboBoost
Min = 30
Max = 59
Average = 54

Although its only 2 frames different, i feel less stuttering with TurboBoost on especially when the camera panning.

Max FPS = 59 because i capped it with Afterburner.

new owner here, just bought DV6-6C19TX today for RM 3099 in Prestige Atoz @ Lowyat Plaza with 8 gb RAM, sling bag and HP bag pack

Can someone tell me what i have to do before performing minimal system installation?? Is it gonna wipe all the partition?? but i got recovery partition in D: and HP tools in E:

Welcome and congratz on your purchase.

Make the recovery discs and backup swsetup folder in your C:\ drive. After that you can proceed with minimal installation.

Dv7 has 2 hard disk slots, Dv6 only has one.

Damn ....RM500 for extra HDD slots and 2" screen size.

How about ram slots ?

Is it hard to replace the HDD ?

AFAIK both models only have 2 RAM slots. Replacing HDD shouldn't be difficult as HP has made it relatively easy to open up the back and removing the HDD, RAM, optical drive. There are quite a number of forummers who have replaced SSD into their DV6

There's more.

1. 1080P screen resolution.
2. 2x 1TB HDD.
3. built in subwoofer.

Considering one 500GB 2.5" HDD is around RM300 these day..

All i can say,
1. Leshcat's driver give you the latest from AMD and Intel. You don't need to install HP driver.
2. DNA driver provide extra D3D settings in CCC and some registry tweak. You need to install it on top of HP driver.

1TB 5400RPM HDD since now i already got an extra 500gb WD black ...1080P as i would probably hook it to my TV ....subwoofer not sure if i would use it coz most of the time i'm would be using my pair of HD650
