new owner here, just bought DV6-6C19TX today for RM 3099 in Prestige Atoz @ Lowyat Plaza with 8 gb RAM, sling bag and HP bag pack

Can someone tell me what i have to do before performing minimal system installation?? Is it gonna wipe all the partition?? but i got recovery partition in D: and HP tools in E:

so far only tried the audio paired with AKG Q460 and its sound very awesome

which one is better?? official, leshcat, or DNA??

if i'm not wrong, the new version of coolsense only got 2 options:
on and off
because mine is version 2.1 only on and off too
version 2.0 got on/off/auto

I am using madvr too, what is chroma upscaling, luma upscaling & downscaling??? Kind of curious about that
So far, I'm only using default setting, because its already work flawlessly for all video playback

Why u didn't use ffdshow to play rmvb?? I'm only using madvr to play 10bit and h264 video and leave the rest to ffdshow

Warranty probably takes around 1 month, but it depends on the problem though
Last time, my friend warranty his laptop only took 2 weeks, he survived 2 weeks by using netbook. Lol

Hey guys, I have a problem with my laptop (dv6-6C19TX)
whenever I tried to clean install AMD driver (uninstall first), it always fail and the log shows
AMD display driver
Final status - Fail
Right now, i am stuck on using Leshcat's Catalyst 12.2 WHQL UnifL UP5, I could update my driver to Leshcat's 12.6 Unifl UP3, but it often hang when I play game or make my windows explorer crash.
I already tried to uninstall using YUC, Atiman, Driver Sweeper, CIM, and CCleaner, so far none of them success when I installed any Leshcat's AMD drivers, even the SG driver from HP is failed as well.
Any of you have solution for this? I don't want to format my system because of this problem

the solution is not working, already tried both of it many times, every time I failed I did system restore, always fail to install AMD display driver
I think it's time to format my system

i think i just screwed up, i formatted my system using windows image on minimal installation state, and only have C: partition,
so I lost my D: partition with around 300-400 GB files on it, including movies, music, documents, and etc, I lost everything at once, feels like having a new laptop lol

not feeling good but feeling awkward at the moment

the windows already made my partition into one, only C:,
its the same state like factory setting only C: for system, D: recovery, and E: hp tools
there is nothing I can do to recover my files, moving on is the only way

and actually which AMD driver I should use?, it seems I can't install DNA 12.6b.2 having the same failed installation like previous when before formatted my laptop. I already installed my HP official SG driver then DNA still failed, I think I am gonna install leshcat again but don't know which version is stable, since it's still fresh install i think I won't have any problem

EDIT:
it seems I still have my luck, finally, I recovered all of my files using easeus, and none of them is corrupted lol
and I could successfully install DNA driver, using the DNA-AMD Fusion, so far haven't got any problems with it
