QUOTE(Acid_RuleZz @ Jan 19 2012, 11:10 PM) What game? Day/night? 95c = CPU or GPU? 1. Try play with bottom panel open and lift the laptop using text book or boxes for better ventilation. 2. Turn off TurboBoost if you hate the temp. Day Indoors for GPU. 1. lol I used to do that with my PS3 haha. Less fan noise. 2. Where do I go to turn it off?

Try night time temperature. GPU 95c? Then your CPU what temp? Open CoolSense and set it too Coolest. That will disable TurboBoost and increase the fan activity.

Max still 95c lol. I shouldn't be THAT worried right. 80-90 range is pretty standard for laptop computers when gaming right?

Oh.. 80+ for Witcher 2 is acceptable but 95c for GPU.. i never get that before. If CPU still acceptable. Anyway, update your Witcher 2 to 2.1 for better fps and less stuttering.

I think it's better that you open up and clean the vents a little. Re-apply thermal paste if possible. 95C is too high for GC, and GC temps should always be lower than CPU..personally the highest my GPU went is to 87C, but that's in a warm afternoon without any cooler..the CPU temps went up to 94C though.

Reapplying thermal paste involves dismantling the laptop right? I'd rather not risk it... Anyways I'm going New Zealand in a month's time anyways so the temperature should be ALOT lower by then haha.

With AMD GPU turn on.

The max I got was 87C for the GPU without cooler on a warm afternoon, was playing Skyrim, L4D2, NFS etc though. CPU temps went up to 95C. Games like L4D and Starcraft stress the CPU more. EDIT: I did have a small USB powered fan blowing across the keyboard though This post has been edited by keyzjh: Jan 20 2012, 03:50 PM

Played a little bit of Arkham City just now and CPU temp maxed at 90c. GPU temps actually stabilize at the 80's but then it'll slowly increase till 93c. Fans don't start making noise till 90c though.
