hi, i have problem with my heli, the setting for heli prevent from spining has broke, is that really important for a r/c heli or i can just leave it & continue playing?
this is my problem, see the picture, below the ON words have a white switch, the switch has spoil already, and my heli were spining while operating, what should i do?
Spinning when FLYING or on the ground?
1. IF SPINNING WHILE ON THE GROUND, cant fly:
Its mean that your main blade was loose. That makes the rear blade spinning faster than your main blade. Your blade WAS ROSAK.
Why?
I saw your pics, that is the imitated one just like my heli, with different brand. One way to fix it, just CABUT the main blade and carefully put SUPER GLUE/3 or 2 tonne glue at the SHAFT TEETH and carefully insert the main blade into the shaft back.
2. POTENTIOMETER
This was to prevent your chopper from spinning wildly. Theoritacally,
---------------------------->>>> main blade clockwise
<<<<---------------------------- rear blade anti-clockwise
Why? Its because, the inersia from the MAIN BLADE will make the chopper body move with the blade to the same direction.
So, the rear blade plays the important role, to stop the chopper body spin with the main blade. So, lets say the body and main blade move to the right, so the rear blade will push the body to the left (so, 50-50 condition, straight)
If you steer right, the rear blade will get slower (so, the body will move to the right a little more), if you steer left, the rear blade will spin faster (and you know urself what will happen lah...)
The potentiometer act SAME as the thing that have at almost all RC cars have, it adjust the balancing for left-right for the RC involved.
