Not too promising ; facing freezes at screen idle - never faced such issues before . Hard to unlock screen
Better do a backup first before changing kernel or prepared to flash back the previous kernel

other than data plan on, what kind of other activity do u do with ur phone?
considering a note but scary part is battery of less than 12 hours.

what's the average battery life after going up 2.3.6?

if that the case, need to hold first...its better flash with v2.6...

i notice that after updating though 2.3.6 KL3 using mobile odin, all the picture that preloaded in s-memo have gone. never have this problem bfore using kies update.

flash back to 2.3.5 with Odin...then root it...after that update to 2.3.6 using Mobile Odin that installed in ur Note...

download 2.3.5 KK1 from sammobile and use pc odin flash it.

why my galaxy note ram status alwayz goes to 700+ even clear memory still go to 600+ even unistall many apps?need advice and help!!!

that way the battery seems can at least last for 1.5 days, which is good considering the screen size.
now i m really considering.. lol..

check ur running services...same like pc, there is ram that reserved for system itself...

Benny, have been reading your posts and taking notes on the upgrade to 2.3.6 since yesterday and now ready to take the plunge... after the firmware is downloaded... 300mb to go...

anyway, I am in the same situation as cynox... I have stock 2.3.5 kk1 rom, rooted but NOT installed with CWM... has mobile odin and currently downloading the KL3 firmware....

I will proceed with the below steps :

1. Launch mobile odin
2. Select OPEN FILE - and browse and choose the stock 2.3.6 firmware tar file (N7000DXKL3_N7000OLBKL2_XME.tar.md5)
You will see a listing of all the files selected : kernel, system, data, modem etc etc
3. Replace the kernel file with the CWM extracted tar file : CF-Root-SGN_XX_ODD_KL3-v5.0-CWM5.tar and leave everything else as default
4. Select flash firmware
5. Sit back and pray...

Will update again when I've done it...

Just upgraded to KL3 via ODIN, my note is "still" unROOTed...so just upgraded KK1 to KL3 without root, will see how it goes..took ODIN 4min30sec, KIES failed x10 already.....
KL3 feels faster....

I must say you have poor reading skills. First you say you read 10 pages and cannot find my postings

Now you are saying you dunno what to do . If you have read all the postings by various users - there are exactly in same situation as you. They cannot root and have CWM on 2.3.6
That is why I wrote all the steps how to do it

And here you are asking me again : just use odin in PC to flash back 2.3.5 rom ( download from sammobile.com or from the XDA link i have given ). Just follow all the instructions I have listed. So many users has successfully done it. Just follow the instructions

Sorry if I am being too harsh - you need to read posts prior to my postings and read other users posts too and they are exactly in same boat as you
