Saw some ppl use the "setting" and "back" soft button as notification light, what the app? can we install on note as well?

Flashing KL7 will definitely change your baseband,just wondering does this going to effect the GN if im going for holidays outside Malaysia like Thailand, Indonesia?

The last time i flashed my HTC Desire with diff rom and baseband, it is completely unusable with other countries prepaid sims maybe due to different baseband.

I never faced such issues going overseas on all my Galaxy phones with change basebands - Indonesia, Brunei, Spore, UK, Thailand, cambodia, Hong Kong , China

Added on December 29, 2011, 9:48 amUsing those cheap unbranded generic batteries ( NOT Momax or Mugemn ) , it is advisable to charge it using the external charger rather than charging it inside phone. I always have doubt on the strength of its builtin chip. However charging on the external charger is extremely slow - at least 6-8 hours for full charging

Ok,will give ROCKET ROM V12 a try and a KK1 nandroid backup just in case. Dont want to waste the bills on data roaming abroad.

yes, agree with you.. thats why i get 2 battery chargers to charge the battery.. better be safe ..

So far no issue using all 3 battery.
But I only use the external charger to charge all 3 battery to be safe. The charging time around 7 to 8 hours.

try to sell me the original flip case for RM180. Retail price is RM150. I hate to deal with this kind of ppl.

I feel like getting this phone/tablet. But then again, at around 5" seems a bit too big to fit in my pocket. And I hate bulky stuff.

yaaa.. i got my Note from them.. they try to push me USB OTG rm150 ++ .. they say therm20++ one will burn ur phone, void warranty, bla bla bla.. they think we r stupid..

Sales person will push to the extreme to squeeze money out of consumer. Lets try to be smart consumer guys !!!

My original flip case after used for 20days the side started to peel. I advise you not to buy it. I use my note carefully but yet the case peel...

i can't use kies air on my pc....it always crashed....and when i connect my note to the pc....somehow i need to close the app and then open it again in order for the phone to have connection with the pc..... and its irritate me much....

It seems pretty difficult to get a good deal for the Samsung Galaxy Note. I don't mind getting it from Digi, but they are out of stock. I don't mind paying RM1549 for the phone and RM48 per month for the line. But no stock!!!. If I buy outside phone only its RM2180 best price... for an ori...any other places where I can get the SGN cheap?

i noticed that my Note was quite underutilized. i use my iPod more.

trying to figure out why have i bought this RM2k++ gadget for just a normal telephony usage.. such a waste..

or is it due to the holiday season... or iPOd is more portable (or more adorable) that i used it more? i even use my ipod to browse net more than this Note, in spite of the large screen of the Note. somehow i just feel ipod is easier to use.

why did i bought Note at the first place?
1. internet browsing on the large screen
2. The S-Pen
3. I presume the Note is more professional/business oriented device, so i tot it would be beneficial as my organizer
4. attracted by the raw power that Note offers
5. promise of early ICS update than other sammy device

but eventually,
1. the screen is not large enough to accommodate feasible internet browsing experience, still prefer using PC for "serious" internet browsing
2. i can't remember if i had used the S-pen for good since i bought it
3. still underutilized, still prefer using normal diary for work
4. personally, i think Note performance is not better than S2.
5. this is what left for me to hold on the Note, to experience ICS on it.
