Flashing KL7 will definitely change your baseband, just wondering does this going to effect the GN if im going for holidays outside Malaysia like Thailand, Indonesia?

The last time i flashed my HTC Desire with diff rom and baseband, it is completely unusable with other countries prepaid sims maybe due to different baseband.

Ok,will give ROCKET ROM V12 a try and a KK1 nandroid backup just in case. Dont want to waste the bills on data roaming abroad.

Any Gnote owners on DIGI? Hows the speed and stability?

I was on Umobile before but most places i go, my whatsapp and other push notifications is laggin. Most of the time if have to stop the whatsapp service in settings since the data network keep changing from 2G to 3G and vice versa rapidly.

Force 3G... that will do.

DiGi is not bad outdoor but indoor, I really have to say, SUCKS!!! I complaint for few months already and they finally fixed the problem. How? Downgrade from H to 3G. LOL... now I can get signal in my house but is 3G. I went outside or sit beside the window, I get the much faster H.

For my own experience, I felt UM is better cos if you are in Klang Valley, most of the time you will get H or H+. I dont even bother to switch to EDGE cos its on Celcom network and limited to 128kbps. Might as well turn the phone off and have a piece of mind rather than getting frustrated with slow speed. Same thing with DiGi.

OK,ive tried that b4, setting it to WCDMA on my Gnote but still the same although UM speed is quite fast on certain areas. Just hate the delayed push notifications have to restart the whatsapp not connecting at my office, basement.

Maybe have to try out Digi prepaid first since the purpose of having a reliable data connections is mainly for outdoor. Indoor i use Unifi/Wifi only connections. So, no problem there.

Was thinking of switching from Maxis since their data plan is really really quite high compared to all telcos, but quite reliable.

Yeah.Awesome, just got it install last night.
Kitchen app is amazing, less hassle in downloading any kernel to your PC and transfer it to your phone.
Quite smooth but not as smooth as Rocket Rom.
Only the Android system bumps up in the Battery Usage screen.
