I was on latest CM9-Kang, with availability of customize notification power widget I feel like using older CM7. Combine it with ICUP Speedy-3

how to use chinese or other language input (where dl or the apps/file name)

can i use voice to text (in chinese instead of just english?)

System settings -> Languages & input -> Google voice typing (click on the setting icon) -> Select input languages

Uncheck "Automatic"

or when u click the mic icon on keyboard, the voice text UI comes up right ?

Below the glowing red circle u can see English(US) or what ever that is default, click on it and a pop up screen will come up, choose "add or remove languages" , then choose from there lor

similar like what bugeca suggested but can access straight from the dictation screen

ohhhh because from the option below the mic there is only english us >_<

btw anyone had trouble of showing names from incoming calls?
it only show name and picture only after answering the call @_@

yeah, sometimes that happens but if you let it ring longer the name will show. But sometimes it will show it immediately like how its supposed to be.

Guys, i want to ask, is there any bad effect to the battery if i always charge using usb while tethering?

(i didn't use plug charge anymore because it's always charging while i'm using usb to tether)

Aiya no need to worry so much la, use your phone the way u want to use it . Its meant to serve you not the other way around .

And let's say it does affect battery power storage capabilities in the long run, just get a replacement battery, its replaceable unlike some other design in the market

Just get mercury case for today from (Garage sales)Lowyat.net Forumer. Quite nice I like the black colour and it's glitter makes my nexus look shiny

For those who wants to type asian languages try Go Keyboard, it's free good to use and multi language support (includes Malay too)

Is there any barely there case for nexus s? While I like the build n design of the phone, I can't stand the glossy back, finger print magnet to the Max!!!

Mercury Case!!!

Mercury case is as thick as those silicon case no?

It's TPU jelly case, It doesn't add too MUCH bulk like otterbox so don't worry
I do recall Fcuk90 has his mercury case pictures on V2 of Nexus S thread, you can go have a look.
His is red ones if not mistaken
