Normally for SME set, dealer will register your phone thru SMS and you will receive SMS from SME as confirmation your set been registered with them. Next time when you bring your set to Samsung Center, they will recognized your set by your IMEI number...

But in your case, you not buying it from dealer... so you will not know registration history... better if you have invoice from your seller...

I am on ICS as well.. flashed myself...no problem so far... just that viber app is not working.. the rest is fine...and battery life got better... now it can last around 17+hours with one charge (with 3G Data usage + some internet browsing + fbing)

I thinks most Nexus S user already migrate to ICS.. Like myself already migrate at my 1st day using Nexus S... Only some application not yet compatible but all phone function are working (but I have not try MMS yet).

There is stock and a lot of Custom ICS ROM to meet your requirement...

I guess so . My data is on 24/7.

I guess u could turn on data but only leave mms apn in the apn settings if you worried about over usage of data

Thanks for the advice... Will try it when somebody sending me MMS. Nowdays nobody sending me MMS... sad.gif People are moving to Facebook to share thing...
