Make sure your iPhone 4S does not have yellow tint. I bought 3 units from KLCC Convention Hall and they not allow me to change. I suggest wait for the next batch

Just bought a unit 64GB white outright at KLCC , no queue and walking out with iphone less than 15 mins. Malaysian are not really into iPhone 4S i guess. Perhaps this time all 3 telcos are launching at the same day.
Another note , i bought 1 unit outright without any plan or contract. 100% confirm can buy 5 unit at one shot without any contract.

true...only 16 GB White is out of stock...other than that....it's okay

actually the story is like this

i bought my iphone 3gs, i din notice the screen....

then my fren bought 3gs, notice mine was yellowish than him

my 3gs < fren 3gs

then i bought 4s 2 years later [now]

when i check back now

4s < fren 3gs < my 3gs

my 3gs is like super blue, with a light leakage visible...anyone know why is this?

it was a good system made my maxis...

i was queueing at 9.15am and the queue is already outside of the building..by 9.40am, they slowly moved in as they arranged their queue lines...by 10.15am i already got the queue number whereby at that time it was number 1060..and i was number 1103...waited for only 10 mins and everything is settled...

bought a 64gb white ip4s...as my current ip4 is black 32gb...hehe..thank you maxis..

Yellow tint screen? I am worrying my ip4s will be yellow tint. Any comment here?

hmm..so far i'm ok with my ip4s..no yellow tint..but still i'm quite worried too...we'll see about that soon..hopefully everything will be ok

iam so surprised with maxis at klcc convention center...they r so systematic and professional..their staffs are all over the places to help u..they are all very friendly and they never forget to smile..iam so happy with them and maxis..bravo to u all..u r the best..
and furthermore, they serve us customer with drinks and snacks..even help the elderly and very friendly and playful with kids..no matter what ur race..melayu cina india or others they will always make u like one family..
for example..one old malay lady being help by one young chinese gentleman and one malay lady playing with one indian kids and they didnt act as strangers at all..
i can see the true malaysian there..iam so proud to be there..among the others..
for me..its not all about the iphone..but its all about malaysian..perpaduan rakyat..perpaduan rakyat malaysia tak kira bangsa dan agama..syabas rakyat malaysia..

Test the iPhone demo unit, ask lots of questions, play around frequently using apps or functions...
In the end, not subscribing or buying.

Package is expensive than my current maxis package.
As advised, low usage can use for 2 days without charging.
Why don't apple came with 4" to 4.5" screen

iam the proud owner of maxis iphone 4s 64GB white with yellow tint screen..hehehehehe

i hvn get mine... tmr will get from my small town MEP... mostly will got stock since i getting 32GB black.. XD

No worries about the yellow tint, my previous white iPhone 4 oso initially got yellow tint, it's the newly applied adhesive on the screen, will be gone later. It shows the units just got out of the factory oven. Google up folks.

Another thing, the newer iPhone screen(compared to 3GS) has better color reproduction and wider range of blacks and more pleasing and warmer color. It's like comparing a cheap laptop screen (blue-ish) to an expensive one with better gamma.

And for those who asked why no 4' or 5' screen for iPhone, there were, in fact there were 3.5,3.7,3.8,4.0,4.2,4.5,4.7,5,5.1 prototypes.. but they didn't made the cut for production and Apple settled for what's best and optimum for battery life and thumb operation/usability...they are perfectionist and test like crazy unlike other companies that experiment using customers with various sizes of tablets and smartphones and fragmenting all the screen resolutions...for those who don't know the history, Apple in fact created the iPad way before the iPhone. They have figured out the right size for mobile and tablet.

They might relook into the screen size I think if they managed to find a new battery technology.

Does the yellowish screen will disappear after certain period of time because I am a bit worry right now since I am planning to buy 16gb white version from maxis...furthermore maxis can buy outright right?
