Hi gurus of PSV,

I just bought a wireless router linksys e1200.
I have set the modem to dial my username and password of streamyx.
I set the linksys e1200 as DHCP server.
But now, only my desktop and laptops are connecting to it.
My PS Vita always fails connecting to the internet.
Can anyone help?

What is there to explain about 3G?

Same like handphone, 3G is just to go online if no WiFi and works together with GPS to get accurate location, that's all.

Its okay. Found that the psv automatically sets wrong gateway for the Vita if you are using wifi router and mode.
Just changed the gateway to the modems gateway and not the routers gateway. Problem solved.

Here's a very noob question but I couldn't get the answer by Googling. When I search through the garage sale forum for Vita price, there's always 2 options - either a standalone standard pack or a bundled pack. Obvious difference are the extras like screen protector, games, memory card, casing, strap, etc.

Price difference is like RM650 vs RM1000. Ok, the cost of the consoles and accessories combined might have exceeded RM1000. But the thing which puzzles me is the standard pack. On the bundled pack, they put in words like 'original charger', 'original adapter', 'original cable' and 'original battery'. So, I was wondering, for the standard pack, did they remove the Sony original stuff to make it cheaper? I can't compare it with the normal US pack as those are sold by retailers from another country and have stricter policy.

can i make an assumption that, the VITA CONSOLE doesnt matter which set (HK SG US JP) what only matters is the PSN account region (ASIA US JP). so what region does the majority of users create their PSN accounts? asia, R3 i assume?

also say, i'm playing Phantasy star online, isit free for me to choose which server i want to play in? cus i really dont think playing in a US or JP server would be a good experience, only Asia server for me

Yes it doesn't matter which console just the account. I don't know what the numbers are but I'm using R3 account for my Vita which is same as PS3. I know a lot of guys promoting US or Europe accounts because of the value given by PS+ but its up to you.

As for Phantasy Star Online of course choosing the nearest server makes sense though you may want to check the PSO thread here for more info.

i made that assumption based on my previous experience with the microsoft account (windows games smth smth) where Asia region accounts REALLY SUCK whereas EU or US accounts have load of games. so yeah tongue.gif so i guess am gonna take a US PSN account! ty. or maybe even 2 MMC for R1 and R3

buy from lowyat forum net retailers (ie impulse megastore, etc.etc.) they're selling dem vitas very cheap compared to m'sia's retail stores. reason? prob due to stores need to pay rent , and e-store, meh no rents. so cari makan so makan less brows.gif

just sayin'. or just buy from 2nd hand sellers on lowyat

2nd hand price is not that great. RM635 PS Vita 3G+Wifi from hwaching62
is the best for now.

Only bad thing is that Vita 2.0... How much lower Vita 2nd hand price will drop is anyone's guess
