I was just wondering is the all instructor would always scolding and scolding all the time? I have just started my driving lesson which took about 3hours per class. The instructor was actually started to scold & yelling at me when after 10minutes of the driving lesson. He extremely fierce & impatient in teaching me. I have trouble in concentrating when he was scolding me at the same time. He would just push my hand away from the steering when i was outer line & would scolded me like there are no tomorrow.

Guys i was just wondering its this normal?? are all instructor behaving like that too?? Maybe you guys can share your experience. I have few classes to finish & i already have phobia in learning driving whenever i think of facing him.

very laid back, and gives very good pointers.

obviously no, not all instructors are the same. if you dont like yours, feel free to change.

My instructor was a friendly chap, smiling and easy going.

Explain / guide everything in simple layman terms.

Never raise voice before.

Maybe TS instructor is GGC member rolleyes.gif

Not all the same. My tutor was my dad's friend, so you know my mom taught me how to drive first then baru go drive with tutor. I got some discount due to learn driving myself. So my tutor only give some advises like adjust mirror bla bla bla. So no scolding at all. And i never attend class. tongue.gif My advise find a tutor which your family or friend knows or recommend. smile.gif

Wow that is not the right way to scold. Scolding is already wrong in the first place. You are the customer, you should complain. Its better to find the tutor than ask the school to arrange for you. Paid already?

My instructor was good no voice raised but at one time the Kancil battery flat he as me go down to push start hahaha. He like to give wisdom talk on driving too.

If he is scolding you request to change because they get paid by how many hours they teach.

Initially I had the same instructor at you. scold, scream & yell. Then when the "training" ended, he ask me what I've learned. I told him that I didn't learn anything other than being rage & I want to change to another instructor.

So I got a nicer instructor.

My instructor was a quiet and patient old man. Sometimes on the highway with him wearing his sunglasses, i wonder is he sleeping or not LOL laugh.gif And even if i'm speeding at 80km/h, he just say 'don't go too fast yeah...', then i'll slow down to 70 for awhile and go back to 80 again laugh.gif

And my tip, record him(voice) when you're practising with him. Bring the recording to the driving school. PLUS tell your parents too. He'll be screwed real bad.

I'm so seriously jealous of you guys. My house doesnt have a car so cant practice much tho although i hope i can so that i no need to fork out my own money in case if i need to re-test again. Look like not every instructor are behaving like that. I still thought it was normal & that's why i keep my mouth shut & let him scold. rclxub.gif

No wonder he was so smooth talking to me at the end of the traning & asked me to add few more hours as i still cant master all the skills.

@wintersun
Have told him nicely not to scold me actually as it will confuse & made me nervous. He would just answer then it would be your problem not mine!!!
