wah i flash the theme Clear Glass S2 1.6 [Villain 3.0] [In the wild] til i lost my contacts app. baseband version oso unknown edi. must be lost the efs loool

flash theme also can lose EFS, i rly kenot brain why rclxub.gif its like you flash what also got chance to lose it

yeah, flash wat oso can lose. i faced losing EFS twice, once flashing criskelo rom, once flashing foxhound theme. havent face losing efs yet when flashing kernel, wish me goodluck icon_idea.gif

Tweetdeck pretty slow for s2 as in updates. Any other tweetplus fb apps that's are good.

brows.gif i oso didnt know how i lost it. fortunately i did efs backup before.. but nandroid restore seemed to recover it too..

I don't think you lost EFS. Just maybe the contacts.apk is not compatible with your rom and will not start. Face it a few times trying out themes. Putting back your ori contacts.apk or do a CWM restore (like you did) will resolve it.

But EFS disappearing can happen anytime as long as your rooted and not only when flashing. Sometimes reboot can also cause it so just have backups. Some people unplug from charger also can happen. blink.gif

Yup the hellcat tool have a function to backup the EFS. Just use the tool and backup. Then backup the backup files also by copying to your PC or something like that. tongue.gif

Hey all backing up EFS is a good practice. But dun scare yourself so much. The amount of people reported having this problem is not high at all compared to the amount of SGS2 users on XDA. It is not something that happens frequently. icon_rolleyes.gif
