Not limited to just this forum but every other community, many has just got too paranoid about battery life. We are supposed to enjoy using the device and charge when depleted.

Bluetooth mouse don't work on Siyah kernel for the past iterations and also latest 2.4.2. I finally got tired and went back to CF-Root, the original kernel with only root+CWM+busybox. Everything working good again. Forget about undervolting/underclocking.

QUOTE(snigapoe @ Dec 11 2011, 11:25 PM) The apps offer seems to be worse day by day What's not interesting for you, may interest others. But I try swype; swiftkey ; slide it don like swiftkey don hv sweep function slide it felt perform much better than swype as we can choose to disable sweep function when necessary with just one touch |

Battery voltage won't fluctuate if you keep it charged forever

QUOTE(ashwin1234 @ Dec 12 2011, 07:35 PM) OK, my bluetooth mouse works again. Back on stock CF-KK5+CWM5. And I even have my bootanimation somehow. All custom kernels seems to have BT HID broken. Except for the few that merely repack stock kernel with modified scripts only. Hence I'm back to CF-KK5, forget about whatever voltage control and IO tweaks. I feel the CF-Root kernel is as good as others.I have this feeling that those who use the custom kernels never use a bluetooth mouse. Seeing how the most popular ones can't do crap. What is the point of overclocking and slightly better battery life when the phone cannot even do something that most Android phones can do? |

QUOTE(-kytz- @ Dec 13 2011, 09:39 AM) Simplest thing that came into my mind, Facebook/Twitter/Live Messenger on Android is loosely integrated. On Blackberry, sign in once on the OS and automatically everything else would use the account credentials. On Android, there's so many possibility. One on official app, one on Samsung SNS, maybe one or two on 3rd party social apps, maybe another one for your favourite social widget. Also notice additional permission is required on certain launchers.Similarly for sound settings, everything that produces sound, is in a ONE page setting in Blackberry. Android is all over the place. Every app has their own way of producing sound and vibration as they like. Plenty of little things that people don't notice the advantages of blackberry until they experience it themselves. Blackberries are not impressive, it's a very functional device. |

QUOTE(loongzai2 @ Dec 13 2011, 10:18 AM) sorry i reupload the photo, maybe now can see the different? the darker is as shown where i highlight in red Normal. My white SGS2 also has visible dark borders. I don't see how it's abnormal to have a little border for the screen. There's just no pixels there.» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « This post has been edited by mengsuan: Dec 13 2011, 02:03 PM |

Regretted installing the rotation animation on Checkrom v4. Double gallery rotation (I know it can be fixed) and inverted CRT effect (can be fixed only by undoing the mod). Nice rotation but uglier elsewhere

My SGS2 vibration is too strong. When it vibrates on my table, it's very loud. When it vibrates on my hand, I feel numb. How to reduce the strength of vibration? Vibration intensity settings is just for haptic feedback.
