HSPDA, 3G, Edge, Gprs. Different wireless connection speed with H being fastest. Which is connected depends on the availability at your current location and whether your using 3g/2g line at that time.

H+ = HSPA+ (up to 84mbps) Currently only UMobile in Msia has H+
H = HSPA (up to 28mbps)
E = EDGE (238kbps)
3G = 3G (up to 14mbps)

Finally the long test of data usage monitoring. Got my SMS from digi stating i have used 75% of my 1Gb data plan.
My Data Manager = 781MB
LBE Privacy Guard = 769MB

So i guess these 2 apps are quite accurate and can be used to monitor your data usage. Way way more accurate than that 3G watchdog. icon_rolleyes.gif

i have to agree, 3G watchdog sucks, last month i totally hit my quota of 3GB and 3G watchdog says 1.5GB, that's a 50% error doh.gif

Switch to either one of these 2 apps. I uninstalled 3g Watchdog long ago and wanted to test which of these 2 recommended app is better. Guess both are almost similar. In fact their measurement is slightly more than DIGI so you will be sure not to overused.

Actually the data monitoring part does not need root. Only the App monitoring part need root.
