Hi guys, i'm back again, with lots of questions. Hope you guys won't mind so much.

1. Major problem: BATTERY WON'T LAST LONG! (Yes I've followed Samsung's instructions to drain the battery first before charging for 8 hours long). Listening to music thru earphones for 2 hours only used 3% of battery, but other's, wow.

My usage for today:


Any ideas? (i DID: Turn off WiFi all day, turn down the brightness, i DID NOT turn on data as i don't have a data plan)

2. You know those background running apps? I got a appkiller and with that app, i found out that all the apps are popping up secretly. And after i killed them, they kept on started to run secretly (even the samsung app killer doesn't show them).

THESE APPS (SOME OF THEM I DIDN'T EVEN LAUNCHED THEM) KEPT ON RUNNING IN BACKGROUND

why not spend some extra to protect an expensive phone?

first of all, get rid of samsung bloatware, second it seems to me certain software is causing wakelock. thrid stop using any task killer. fourth SD is not a must unless u got not enough space. GPS can try sygic. can try lowyat plaza for accessories. and no never in my life i will ever ever EVER buy a casing that cost more than rm20, and i dont use flip pouch. hope this helps

What was your problem again ah? Phone cannot wakeup? Its usually cos by too much UV or too low CPU speed used. Like i said dun use sleep profile, it is more troublesome and dun save you anything noticeable.

remember to sign out from the apps and disable auto-sync

some of them i didn't even launched it!

Most of the power drain is from the screen. Can you post a SS of your graph (press the mini graph at the top) and your display info.

1) Exit apps properly
2) Some services/app need to run and will continue to do so even after you kill it. So stop killing them.
3) Most of the time these apps do not add to your batt drain unless its a rogue app causing wakelock. All they do is consume your ram which you have plenty
4) If you dun like an app showing up just uninstall it.
