Once you do factory/hard reset..all you apps (paid and free) will be gone, leaving the pre-installed apps only.
You can download again your paid apps for free as the apps is tied with your gmail account. Just sign in the same gmail account when you activate your phone/market.
If you root your phone, you can use Titanium Backup to restore back all your apps and data.
For unrooted phone, you can use MyBackup Pro to install back all your apps but without data. And use SMS Backup and Restore app to restore back your sms..

Isn't BLN related to kernel. If you just want BLN then get a kernel that supports BLN and of cos get the app from market as well. There is no need to change rom just for BLN.

jz nw 1am sleep with 55% battery.. before i sleep i open task manager and see anything running.. only 1 apps (widget locker) as usually it run . .
i jz wake by nightmare.. and i want see what time as today got exam i set 7.40 - 10am with over 6 alarm..

the result is phone cant on.. i thought auto turned off or anything.. den i wake n open up 2nd hp see 7.50 = =
and i jz charged up the phone.. the s2 battery kong ady.. WTF = =

apps are tied to your google account so just re-dl if you don't root.

if you do then there's Titanium Backup.

VillainROM is very stock TBH. haven't tried 3.0 but it's about as stock as they come with a few tweaks.

Can anyone help me. Both my camera apps are buggy; Camera Zoom FX and Camera360.

Both seem to always show me a black camera preview screen either when loading the app or after taking a shot.

I have to restart the app or alternate the front and rear camera before I can see the screen again.

Stock camera has no problem. I have tried reinstalling the app to no effect.

No way to verify such stuffs ? Why you are concerned ? If you have bought it with the box sealed and from SME - no need to worry about it. If you bought it and box already opened - than no way to verify whether batteries are already changed. There are plenty such fakes ( exactly as originalmbut if you look closely at the fonts size, print quality you can see the difference) - can buy from EBay
BTW mine previously was Made in Japan/Finished in Korea - same as my present Galaxy Note

Yup, FX I have to swap front and rear then ny can. Is it because they not optimized for i9100G?

I bought the NOTE mainly for its bigger display ( which btw is also nicer ). Another bonus is the S-pen with its exceptional writing, sketching features which you cannot find elsewhere. The HTC Flyer stylus pen pales terribly compared with it
Overall the SGS II is a better performer - slightly more slick, faster and smoother. The difference is very slight. If one has never used a SGS II you will be amazed at the SGS Note performance.
Overall the Note battery life is way, way much better versus the SGS II , easily 4-5 hours more and is not so "hot" compared to the SGS II
Due to the higher resolution of the Note , so far all 3rd party launchers lag slightly. I kept the default TouchWiz as it is perfectly geared for the Note and no lag at all. All 3rd party launchers do not show any lag on the SGS II. I have tested Launcher Pro, ADW EX, GoLauncher, Zeam and Spb shell 3d ( i permanently use this on the SGS II) : all these launchers display slight lag ( which i do not like at all) on the NOTE

so the S2 is the better performer in terms of smoothness but the rest not as good as the note.. interesting.

Need some advice on the GPS. Just installed PAPAGO X5 on the SGS2 and tested it yesterday on the road. I found that for some reason, the GPS seems to lose signal easily. Tested with GPS Status and another GPS software for the signal.

When i use PAPAGO, driving on the highway, sometimes, the PAPAGO will freeze for a while (i suspect it lost the GPS) and won't move, sometime later when it picked up the signal again, it'll jump to the current location and proceed. I don't have such problem with my old HTC Desire...

Samsung phones seems like having a lot of GPS issue (including the original Galaxy S ...)...anyone have solution or similar experience?
