Looks like hausofbib has another 3rd party battery model for the 9900/9790 - I wonder if this one needs recloning at every reboot/battpull like the sunglobal batt.. Note : Facebook photo link = http://goo.gl/e3w3r (1550mah for RM100)

Do you have a micro-SD card inside your phone? Maybe try removing that card first (could be corrupted).

QUOTE(aloy5415 @ Apr 26 2012, 09:33 PM) feel bored edi with my 9790..i need a good battery life.......... If your only concern is battery life, you can always consider a spare battery and a batt charger. Carry the fully charged spare as a standby with you. Charge both phone and spare batt at night and you won't have to worry about battery drain during the day.

In my experience, os7.1 is consistently better on battery life compared to os7.0. Anyway, the basic principle is 'no money no honey' Btw, I have a paid app named quicklauncher that reboots my phone daily (at 6am) to ensure that I have a 'fresh' phone before I leave home, ie no apps active in the background to drain battery and cause heating issues.. QUOTE(fArAh07 @ Apr 30 2012, 09:56 AM) my bold 5 battery sucks. i bought sun global battery last month, its still didnt works & my bold always panas why la? Can you tell me what apps you have on your phone? I notice my phone warming up if I do one of these 2 things: 1. Leave foursquare open and searching for venues to check in 2. Leave one or more browser tabs open instead of holding back button to close tabs and exit the web browser

QUOTE(mrfarhatadib89 @ Apr 30 2012, 03:55 PM) Any bugs for .402? Im still using 7.0 .557 Not that I know of. I am not a heavy app user, but so far push mail, FB, Twitter, Whatsapp and Google Talk all seem to work fine for me. Mobile AP (wireless tethering), wifi and BT also work ok.

QUOTE(aloy5415 @ Apr 30 2012, 05:13 PM) using it (402) start from 12pm until now.. and still monitoring on it.. i like the super smooth while scrolling menu or apps on this os and i hope the battery is good to With batt saving mode enabled all the time, my phone has 60% now at 5:30pm, from 100% at 8am this morning. 40% drained in about 9+ hours, not too bad. My phone should easily cover me till I get home at 10pm.

QUOTE(fArAh07 @ May 1 2012, 07:14 PM) i do have 4square but i did close once done check in. browser also same. close after done using i have - 4square. twitter. FB. whatsapp. thats all. Phone always panas usually means app active/busy in the background. You have to isolate and troubleshoot, I guess. Or maybe consider a fresh OS reload if battery pulls don't help.

QUOTE(fArAh07 @ May 1 2012, 09:50 PM) how to troubleshoot can u teach me? thanks I'm not a good teacher, not a BB expert myself. Some things I would try: 1. Change back to the ori battery and see if the problem is due to the sun global battery or not. 2. Remove/Uninstall unnecessary apps, one by one to every day to check if the issue is due to a particular app or not. 3. Try flashing a newer firmware, this may help. 4. Last resort, wipe the BB and install only required apps and necessary settings.
