Just got my first Blackberry device, 9790.
Hm...need to learn about BB. Been using Andriod so long,the touch screen of this 9790 is definately feel like home.

WTA: the 9790 screen easy to break or not if the phone sudden fall to the floor..? :|

Apa phone drop on floor is prone to break. Or can you tell me which phone drop on floor won't break? I'll be glad to buy it.

depend on your usage , definitely , 9700's battery will last longer

Im a new owner of BB 9790, with 24month warranty from brighstar.

still make a few research about this phone,
will add the bbm group for 9790 user soon.

Planning to get 9790, my 1st bb, what the diffrent from official os and hybrid os?

official OS contain original items/things that the specific original OS version have

while the hybrid OS is not same as official OS , it may contain things/items from several OS that has been combined to become the new OS / or .. just replace some items/things in the official OS with another version of official OS.

for example

OS V1 contain A,A and A
OS V2 contain B,B and B

hybrid OS, may contain A,B,A or B,B,A or something similar with that ..

there are also hybrid OS that contains the other phone's OS items..

Here in Garage Sales people selling as low as RM1300 for new Brightstar set. Even Maxis don't have stock for the 9790. Sigh
