this thread is extremely quiet at d mo. I think people is still waiting for 3g to get fixed, which is not far...coz SMS and data are working except for voice ATM....so anyone who have d 3g version should be very happy with d future release.

Also for anyone who installed vegabean beta1 and experiencing random temporary lockup...u can install ram manager pro from blackmart and select balance (More multitasking) and reboot. u can also select enable swap file -> 32mb or 64mb and see the difference....it defo will reduce d problem.

i am waiting for 3g to be fixed first before going back to vegabean...need the 3g when i am outside.

quiet as always...but here's is a guide to change boot animation on our beloved viewpad 10s tablet running on VegaBean rom/firmware.

1. Download d new bootanimation from here bootanimation.zip
2. Use ES File manager and copy/paste the bootanimation.zip file inside /system/media folder. Make sure inside ES file manager settings, root and write rw are enabled.
3. Open up Terminal Emulator and type:
su
cd /system/media
chmod 644 bootanimation.zip
4. reboot ur tablet and see d profit .

*Pls make sure to make CWM backup before u try this .

i already install and really smooth.

i plug my usb pendrive to the usb port but it not detected..is it normal for all the vega ROM?

wifi also seem hard to be connected..

It's normal for all ICS and JB roms to detect only certain types of usb flash drives...my tab can detect kingston DT mini fun 1gb (FAT32) no problem...but cant detect/mount my Sandisk cruzer micro 4gb (NTFS)...dunno if its the file system...but using honeyice updated rom can detect both of them successfully.

Im still using vegabean beta1+v6_supercharger+kickass kernelizer...and with the cwm recovery RC1 and new bootscreen...no problem with wifi connections...except need to manually connect after long sleep.

owhh i c.. really like this device after use JB..the CPU n GPU performance increase but the RAM seem like decrease..

the main dissapointment is that JB don support flash..haish.. really hate adobe now..

Ram optimization will next on d devs' agenda....i think.

U can side load flash apk on jb...and u need supported browser to run it...like quick ics browser. U can search d apk on google easily.

vegabean beta 3 not really stable yet i think coz hang while playing 2d game..hmm..wanna try something else... which one better? HoneyIce @ VegaCream??

i think there's a problem with jellypad v1.0 with cwm recovery. u can try manually install d latest cwm touch recovery RC2 from here http://www.tabletroms.com/forums/vega-rom-...y-previous.html . method of install is by using flash_image binary file. tutorial is HERE.. Just follow the flash_image section.

why not u try vegabean beta3-1 stripped? it got int2sd support...with class 10 micro sdcard...ur tab should be fast enuf with bigger data partition.if u experience hang...u should format/partition ur sdcard 1st before flash new rom.

i've tried most of the ROM and lastly stick with the Vegacream Beta3..so far its the stable and suit to my need..hehe..
play HD game no problem also..hehe.. my memory only class 4 thats y i dont stay wif jellybean 3-1..

what case @ pouch u use for your tab??

is there any other brand tablet cases that suit our viewpad?? like galaxy tab 10.1 @ asus?

well, i've already asked around for it. the only one i found is is for generic china tablet. the case comes with keyboard but the keyboard cannot be used with our tablet.

other case / pouch available but need to order from oversea

last time I bought leather case from bro singa89....maybe u guys can try pm him....for other case...I think dun fit on our tab.

Mine is wifi-only version....as far as i know...vegabean beta3 already support internal 3g (data only). If i were u...i'll wait for d ultimate vegabean version 3.2 aka RC1 coz it'll will support int2ext (large data partition), internal 3g with SMS and voice call functions and zRAM support
