I've encountered this before. Some ppl said that is sign of a bricked vpad but can be fixed easily.

What i've did is, flash to a new roms. I flash my tab to vegacream rc2 and it works wonder after that

things u will need
1. a computer
2. male to male USB cable
3. viewpad 10s driver. download here
4. vegabean or vegacream or vegacomb roms. google where to download.

step by step
1. plugin ur charger
2. plugin USB cable
3. install USB driver
4. turn off tablet
5. press back for 1 second - hold the button
6. press power button for 4 seconds without releasing the back button.
7. ur pc will detect a new hardware been found - APX
8. install new rom.
9. pray that everything went smoothly.

gud news for whoever owns viewpad 10s wifi version...there is a new app called PPP widget released on google play that supports external USB 3G modem. i tested it myself using my tab (vegabean beta3-1) with huawei E153 + maxis 3g bb sim card. Here r d steps to get 3g working on ur wifi-only tab:

1. Install d PPP widget from google play.
2. Disable wifi and place d PPP widget on ur home screen.
3. Go to Shuttle Tools app and enable Host mode...and insert ur USB 3G modem....default handler request by PPP widget will pop up...just tick as default and grant root access on Superuser pop-up screen.
4. PPP widget status will show "preparing device"...and then status will change to "disconnected". Press Configure button on the PPP widget and enter ur APN details and set GSM dail to *99#.
5. Press Connect button on the widget (need to retry multiple times if 3G signal is weak) and status will show "Connected". Finally, when u get steady LED on ur 3G modem...only then u can browse internet.

sir,ur previous post said that there will be version 3.2 vegabean which have 3g on it. but i had seen at tabletroms, version 3.1 oredi have 3g. should i wait for beta 3.2 or 3.1 is enuff?mine is wifi+3g model.

U can install vegabean beta 3, beta 3-1 and up to vegabean beta 5..coz all of them got updated internal 3 g modem driver. If u have class 10 sdcard...I recommend u install latest VB beta5...but u need to read carefully d requirements prior to installing d rom at tabletroms forum.

wah, oredi have beta 5? where'd u get it? hard to find at the thread. the first page oso dun have beta 5. what about the voicecall function n gps? are they functioning as well?

Official thread is HERE . D rom dev recommend u to have an sdcard with 2 primary partitions (1 fat32 and 1 ext4) and do full wipe plus ext4 partition reformat before install. and after rom install, u need to reboot 2 times (need to wait 5 minutes in between).

Some users reported that voice and sms are functioning...but got problem with d volume or something. Dunno about gps...but u can try and report here .

Yes...its always better to start everything clean...but u can use titanium backup and save d titanium folder to our pc, then after install new ROM...u can restore our app.

Hello everyone, I've problem my Viewpad 10s G sensor. When i'm try to play racing games it does not go the way it should do...

PLEASE HELP ME....

What rom u use? Stock or modded rom?

Sometimes the g sensor performance is not consistence. I used to play shark with g sensor but got irritated by the poor response so, switch to touchscreen.

i'm using stock rom... any suggestion?

tried vegabean beta 5, then found another jellybean rom; Jellypad 2.0. but seems like sumthing wrong with it. flash back to vegabean beta 5. the GPS is functioning, did'nt try the phone call function yet, just use it for checking my credit balance. playing 3d games succesfully. will try other 'heavy' 3d games. i'm proud with this tablet. *except the screen and camera location.

go to any pc shop. ask them for male to male USB cable. they should have. around RM10.
