guys after the market updated itself into the new one i cant log into the store...keeps on crashing... anyone with the same problem>?

there's a new kernel released by vegacream's mod that fix d cpu speed stuck @ 1000MHz. Theoretically, it can fix ur tablet if its warmer than usual or battery drains very fast. I already installed this thru flash_image. For d ones who wants to flash it...here r d steps:

1. Download d new kernel (boot.img) from http://db.tt/kvpQUUQR . Place it inside ur /sdcard.
2. Download flash_image from http://www.mediafire.com/?0uk3hi0n2hzis54 . Place it inside ur tablet's /system/bin/ folder.
3. Open Terminal Emulator app, and type

su
chmod 755 /system/bin/flash_image
flash_image boot /sdcard/boot.img

4. lasly, reboot ur tablet and profit .

After that...u can install cpu master or setcpu to check d cpu speed.

most of us are using VegaCREAM beta2.1 i believed. But the wifi is not that great..Advance Wifi Lock solved the issue anyway but battery drain will be another problem...

if you want the stable one, go search for HoneyICE Chimera Edition updated. The most stable ROM i've tried.

Yes...d new kernel is for d latest vegacream. i've installed it myself...d proc's clock speed does change after install. dunno about battery life coz i havent tested it thoroughly...but batt. lasts about 5 1/2 - 6 hours on normal use (wifi, web, music, light gaming etc.). Apart from that...there's no other improvement. if u think u dont have warm tablet prob or batt. lasts about 6 hours...then u dun need to update. other thing i noticed...since i've updated d kernel...i dun need to recalibrate touch as often as i would normally do with d old vegacream.

Just wonder there are less people here! Any update new for the vega cream 2.1? gameloft games still cant play

i wonder too. i think its due to less update/improvement by the vegacream creator. d latest beta 3 still doesnt solve the wifi sleep problem....so there's no need to do an update. for me vegacream beta 2 is enuf for d moment.

For gameloft games...u can do mods/spoof on ur build.prop for d viewpad to be recognized as eee pad transformer.
From d modaco thread...u can do like this...
U can use root explorer/es file explorer with root enabled to edit build.prop file inside system folder.

thank you very much' i have testef the beta 3 so far stable and no warm issue. i install the live wallpaper from xda samsung s3 the effect very good.

didn't squashpoof build prop b4...i am a light user for my viewpad.

Already tried both beta 4 and beta 4.1, but sadly both got the same problem, whenever screen off...tablet will reboot.seems when tablet tried to sleep...it will automatically reboot....very annoying if u r used to turn off ur screen after use. Btw...everything works OK...still have to test more.

hi guys, been missing from this forum. seems that most of u are in vegacream. I'm still at ics beta 1 and so far no problems even wifi sleep issue except occassionally stock browser shutdown. should I go for vegacream and if so which version. Good to know that thread is still alive.   good job guys.

hope im not too late...u can flash over vegaics after full wipe (faster)...or u can just download vegacream beta3 nvflash version (cleaner). just remember to disconnect ur charger just after nvflash install and right before ur 1st boot. As an addition...clear ur sdcard before flash to reduce problems. Also...if u r using CWM...after flash, go to CWM -> Advance -> Fix permission to remove any google Play problems.

just for info...using stock browser and maxthon (for me) will use alot of cache memory...and fill up memory space for other apps to be installed. if u got problem where its hard to install new apps because of insufficient mem...just download any cache cleaner app...and start cleaning ur cache.

Forgot to tell u...flash video in browser for vegacream beta3 got problems...so need to apply flash fix HERE.

khfoo, shall follow your advice and upgrading to vegacream3. anyway, sorry to ask - just flash over vegaics or have to start from scratch and is it nvflash or cwm.

waiting for u to test 1st friend...hehe! i tried d CWM version..but every app that i installed just FC...i reinstalled beta3. maybe need to format sdcard 1st. maybe u can try d nvflash version and post ur findings?

i installed RC2 CWM version. Good news is d sleep of death, random browser FC and freezing problems are fixed . Managed to run my tablet d whole day without any freezing or random reboot. Tablet can wake from long sleep...but need to press power button 2-3 times to wake d pad. Wifi reconnects manually very fast. D only problems that i've encountered so far are:
1. Mic not working.
2. Wifi can't reconnect if u turn off wifi manually before tablet goes to sleep. Need reboot to reconnect wifi. Just DONT turn off ur wifi manually before turning off ur screen.
3. wifi doesnt reconnect automatically after sleep. But just toggle wifi off/on using power widget to reconnect wifi.
4. Battery seems to drain faster than beta3 when sleep (need batt calibration maybe?). I found that wifi takes longer time to turn off even after tab goes to sleep after a long time. maybe need to use auto airplane mode or adv. wifi lock to fix this but havent tried it yet. or can go to wifi -> advanced -> set wifi turn on when sleep to Never to save some battery.

Overall...tablet works very good...flash is working in stock browser, sound is normal (or can use Volume+ app to increase volume thru' headphone when playing mkv files using Dice player), else havent tried USB flash, HDMI and 3D gaming yet. I'll be using this ROM for now on until jelly bean is released   

reflash to vegacraem beta3 or RC2 bro...then u can sell it.
