i think my pad got a touchscreen hardware problem.. i have send it to center here in penang but they need to send to kl for repair.. i hope they can fix the problem for me..

1. i think wifi should be gud in stock rom...maybe ur wifi router needs restart. try disable ur wifi ap security or just use wep with easy password. also try set ur wifi ap to b/g mode only.

2. u need to install market thru' this way...1st download the file from here http://www.filedropper.com/marketupdate0_1 . Then, save the file to MicroSD on your PC. Insert the Micro SD (Make sure it is of reasonable size) and go through settings -> software update, and then browse to the zip file. Select the file and it will restart the device and you will have market installed. Just use market for a few minutes...and it will autoupdate itself.

3. u can use other 3rd party browser like opera mobile or maxthon. or if u r downloading app...use pc and transfer apk files into microsd card and install using stock file manager.

Thanks rendude. Here some of the solve/unsolve thing i face.

1) Wifi problem solve (i think) the slow connection cause every time it come back from standby mode so i just need to off on the wifi then the speed become normal.

2) The market problem still not solve, the file i download is 0 byte (empty), anyone else have solution for the case or have the copy of say file before it become 0 byte?

3) This morning i found another "bug" . Is it normal that the actual battery level only will show up after a minute or 2 after wake it from sleep mode, what i mean is it does it need time to calculate the battery it remain not like the handphone that always show the real time battery level.

try add ur wifi ap manually. to download that file...u need to use firefox or chrome in ur windows pc and transfer d file to ur microsd card. battery level do need some time to update itself.

Added on February 26, 2012, 3:56 pmtry install moddedstock v2 + vegacomb 3.2 build 9n + honey ice rc2 vintage....for me that's d best combo for viewpad 10s. or u always can go straight to vegaics alpha3+update 2. install advanced wifi lock + opera mobile as browser and nova launcher beta or adw ex as launcher.

Hi, i just got this tablet, and i have ordered the casing from singa89.

I have trouble to connect to data, using wifi or mobile network. I am currently under vegacomb 9.3n, did i do wrong during the installation?

did u wipe clean data after setting up wifi? ( its a no-no if u did ) or u can try reinstalling again in proper steps and see if that helps.

Solve my market problem. The file can be download at:

File size 1.9MB, after download just copy the file into SD card then slot back to viewpad 10S DON'T UNZIP. Then browser the file using the file manager.
The pad will restart then open the market in app list and it will ask you to log in, keying your e-mail information (gmail), as me need to tic the background data and auto-sync (settings -> account & sync) or the register will fail. After that - WALA.. Start find & downloading!

I'm on vegacomb build 9 update 3 everything look fine.. but I've problem with gps.. anyone face the same problem? any fix?

HoneyIce Chimera Update - After using vega performance Boost (without Tubo Boost) i have around 190-200MB RAM available. though still not much apps as i failed to do batchbackup using titanium. The titanium backup foled ended up empty when i tried to do batch restore

sad news indeed bro. I also experienced that before...after that I always backup titanium folder to Pc.

I haven't tried chimeraupdate...still using vegaics alpha 3 update 2. so hows d performance? does it still lag when switching apps?

i can say that there's noticeable improvement. my frontline commando is now smooth,which it wasnt with chimera edition. switching between apps so far no lags.

hi.. mine is working fine with wi-fi. but the problem is, when i try to connect using my 3G. I've tried using both u mobile and instanet by celcom, both giving me, no internet connection. I've use and try viewcomb 6.3 and vegacomb 9n, still i cant use my 3G.. i/ve tried this steps, setting->wireless and network->network operators-> and i've choose the operators manually. Please help me.. where do i go wrong.. ?

correct me if i'm wrong but i dont think 3g is working on these roms. Anyone care to comment?

well...since u r d 1st one to try it...maybe u can give us ur review of chimeraupdate . dunno bout vegaics beta1...but i can tell u if u install vegaics alpha3 update2 then u wont be using honeyice anymore . apart of d minor wifi bug, some games dont work and webkit based browsers stop working after sometime...d speed/performance of ics would smoke honeyice hands down.
