Anyone got problem with viewpad speaker. I put it to max n then I have cracking sound from the speaker.

for fb...if u want to use d official one...use version 1.2. If want to use 3rd party...use either d outdated friendcaster for tab or friend me (but got advert)....currently i prefer friend me.

Yeah...i got that also when playing mp3 at max volume...try use music or media pro or ttpod...and set d bass to low in d equalizer. but when playing movie like mkv or avi...suddenly d sound is very low....sound using headphone is also not gud.

Tried to play music n have the same problem. Going to send for fix next week.

if the tablet is flashed with viewcomb, will it able to act as a wifi hotspot / tethering?

Got hotspot function but didn't try.

Blown speaker I guess. Don't forget to flash d stock rom bro....

I Am using skyfire browser n it has fb tab by default. N the fb is d same as fb android app..so no more complaint bout fb now

Haven't tried skyfire yet...might try it when got time did u face any fc when browsing page with flash?

Dice player can't detect files from USB, which is possible for mx player...am I only the one facing this problem?

try opening from ur file explorer i.e es file explorer...its free from market. i always use this method.

Added on January 23, 2012, 11:23 amjust a small review of honey ice RC3+3.01 patch...managed to install it yesterday without any problem. Here's what i did...

1. Rom author suggest to do full format of microSD card...so i formatted using CWM while creating 256mb swap file...just choose create partition in CWM...select 512mb and then select 256mb...wait for few minutes and done (microSD card will be formatted as well...so backup data 1st before doing this).
2. Then i installed RC3 exe just like stock/viewcomb rom. After boot...calibrate screen and batt and wipe stock browser data...setup wifi and reboot into CWM. Then, i installed RC3.01.zip quickpatch.
3. Then go to market...search for vega performance boost...install it and in d app...select HI version RC3 and select turbo boost...follow instruction and restart. Lastly...goto market again and install terminal emulator...open app and type free to check if swap file is present (it will show swap partition size if successful).

After all that...i found that RC3 is really fast/smooth (compared to RC2.1)...when booting, switching apps and browsing/scrolling using stock browser. Stock browser FC on flash page also reduced...happens rarely now. when coming out of sleep...u just need to press power button only once for few sec....compared to before need to press several times. reboot into CWM recovery also is very easy coz no stale boot (grey screen after reboot) anymore. D only small problem is wifi needs a few sec to connect when boot from off state and also tends to not reconnect after sleep for few hours...but rarely. sadly...d touchscreen sensitivity problem when charging still persist...but i think its hardware problem rather than software. u can reduce this by connecting USB cable from ur tablet to pc. Im still testing and trying find other bugs..but overall recommended to install this rom with vega boost.

i have a 3g version and 3g is my main priority to connect to internet. ive try vegacom, honeyice, viewcomb, corvus5 n stock.

i found that vegacomb v1.7 is the best for 3g ( 3g indicator not varnish even after sleep ) and signal strenght is present ( in dbm, i use network app from market to view signal strength )

other rom ( honeyice, viewcomb ) the signal bar is greyed and when check with network app is 0 dbm.

can someone have their 3g working, please share their rom version and setup. i dont like that after sleep 3g trying to reconnect and sometimes failed..

here r d stock roms: V1.09 and V1.10.i suggest u install d v1.10 coz mine came with it.

This is directd..they r selling rm799 last week..they probably didnt update their mudah ad..

not if u r on vegacomb...u still need to flash stock rom.

Does it means can if we r on viewcomb?
