are you running virtual DJ with CD Timecode controller? Otherwise I don't see the reason for you to use the maya USB . you can straight mix out of the CD.

btw.. it's not a noob gear..it's consider high end
i started off with behringer VMX-100 with two laptops.
then VMX-100 with entry level Stanton 8-30 and slowly progressing ..

now that is noob gear..

hey that's not bad at all...imo anybody that has the turntables are cool, those vinyls are sexy to be looked at. brows.gif
yesterday when i unpacked them from their boxes my mom & sister called the cdjs "hot plate"! wtf?!

mom: is that your cd player? can tempat org masak je
sister: yeah, macam hot plate utk org masak sizzling hot plate tongue.gif

btw, my opinion of noob gear is i'm calling myself a total noob, met them 1st time in my life & struggling to know the basic of real djing. been soo used to virtual, so easy to see the waveforms & set cue points while timing was always out on the real hardwares doh.gif
as for now i'm still not using the maya 44 with it. probably use it for something else coz it's portable.
i use the conventional way of burning cd.

well thank you very much for the heads up smile.gif
i've been trying many ways to get it done, thinking & planning many months on how to get them.
muhahaha time to start practicing, i just have 4 nights off at home now & will be of to Kota Kinabalu for Away Day meeting, then straight back to work. will be missing them much after this. sad.gif

btw, the error on the 2nd deck is because i used to burn mp3 in cheap cd tongue.gif

try getting those black-bottom cds to burn ur tracks, it works well for me and its pretty scratch-resistant.. btw i think the loop selector on 800s is better than the ones on 1000s cause its accurate and fixed

ok will try that as soon as i buy some blank black bottom cdr
loop selection is fine, very fine & as accurate as they were on virtual dj

u have a 1000? it's prettier cosmetically & i almost want to get them just because of their looks! but when i saw the 800 for real, it's not that bad after all. tongue.gif
umm, any advantages of the 1000 over the 800 besides the memory card?

just burn your audio at slowest speed to avoid any burning problem especially audio

i have done that but still the error comes out after the track has played for some seconds & then stuck.
even upgrade the firmware to version 2.0

nope dont have 1000s and i dont really use cdjs, so cant really tell u anything.. i ~think 1000s has a sampler.. but the track wave indicator on 1000s really helps hehe.. for someone who uses software before, u might find it useful speed

maybe its the burning software, try the most accessable software we have, windows media player! no problem burning there... unless u wanna have all mp3s, than use something like nero, i had a similar problem with cds when burning it with nti..

yeah, but instead of spending so much money just for the waveform display better i just buy a new laptop & a controller & virtual dj tongue.gif also can get the job done if just for main2 only. & i dont think i'll be able to set 2 cue points in one track as what i'm usually done in virtual, or i dont know how to do that....

btw, somehow my windows media player doesn't seems to recognize my cd writer, it said there it was disconnected altho it's all built in. (this problem starts when i upgrade to version 11). alternatively i use Sonic Stage to burn my cds. try to use HP cd-r now.
