Unarguably, it's Paradigm FF for me. Axis equipments are pretty old.

I see..... But I always see from outside in Paradigm Mall, i see the yoga place was not spacious like the other area, and the classes that offered are not that much as compared to other? hmm.gif Are you frequent at FF Paaradigm Mall?

Yes agree. If you're talking about yoga/ GX and RPM, Axis's one is bigger tongue.gif but in terms of machines, pantry, freestyle area etc Paradigm is better (newer and bigger).

Yup I go Paradigm on and off biggrin.gif but am a regular there on Wednesday morning.

I see. are you join premium? laugh.gif

RM201.60 inclusive of the 6% GST and yes, it's by credit card.

I have seen some members pay at the front desk. Try negotiating with the membership consultant to see if they'll allow you to pay cash monthly. If they're desperate enough for business (and not against their policy), it's possible.
*
Well, I see....
Do you take trainer as well? unsure.gif

No... don't need a PT. Although I'm not 100% disciplined, I think I do enough workout (clock in averagely 12-14 hours of workout per week in the gym). Instead of paying for PT, I leverage on the classes and online videos or materials. In fact I always ask tips from other veteran members and class instructors wink.gif it's sufficient. Like I always believe in - ask and you shall receive (well, 50% of the time lol). Gym members (of those that I know) are very generous and more than willing to share if you ask.

What are you interested in doing at FF? Yoga or GX class or weights? Others?
*
Actually I wanna tone my body shape. I have flabby arm, huge thighs and huge waist which needed immediate action to cut it down.
I wondered, if no PT around, who gonna teach me how to use the machines and what should I do to properly fit the meats well?
on top of that I love the sauna room and steam room after workout. It is kind of satisfaction motivated me to go for gym.
Previously I join another gym in Section 14 PJ the environment there made me want to switch for better, and FF paradigm is my choice but the space hmm.gif
I am more interested on the classes that there offered actually, like yoga zumba aerobic etc.... if machine I found it quite bored. laugh.gif

Cat, hope u don mind me asking ya, u can reply me in PM if u want. which condo u stay and how much your rental? I looking at options.
*
hey, are you graduated from kampar already? are you moving to PJ?
for my area, the condo easily range above RM500 for middle room due to Paradigm Mall.
You are looking for whole condo to rent or just a single room?

For our area that have few condos together at SS7
Single small room = above RM300 easily RM400
Middle room = Above RM500
Master room = Above RM600
Whole condo = Somehow RM1500 +/- (some forumer told me bcos he asked before.)

Correct tag? Because it is a bit rare for a guy to worry about their flabby arms and thigh.
*
Hi emino, the tag is just to filter pervert and unwanted attention when browsing in another subforum. icon_idea.gif

Grad in August, been working in KL, stay Damansara Perdana since May. But very inconvenient cuz I take LRT to work. I looking to rent whole condo actually. Don't really like renting with people I don't know. I gone for 12 - 14 hours per day, manatau what might happen.
*
If you rent the whole condo, are you planning to stay alone? RM1.5k to fork out every month is quite an amount anyway. hmm.gif
I would recommend you Zenith Condo or Sterling Condo. Because it way higher class than the rest in SS7 but in terms of Sq/ft Kelana Puteri Still the best. Anyway for Kelana Puteri kindly avoid to stay in Block E at all cost. ohmy.gif

No worries dear, after you signed up they will usually offer you the Body First kit - 3 sessions with a PT. You will pay for it initially RM250+ but if you come to the gym at least 3 times a week for 3 months, they will refund the money to you (note that you will need to fill a form and ask for refund, and wait a little bit).

Maximize your questions during those 3 sessions (1hr per session). The PT will teach you how to use the treadmill, machines, advice you on your food etc. No doubt they'll do some pep talk and get you to sign him/ her up for PT afterwards.

Even if the PT did not teach you how to use some of the machines, you can always ask some of PT at the counter and they'll tell you (there are nice ones and grudging ones, mind you). Or, better still, ask some of the members and make friends smile.gif that's how you initiate conversation. Don't need to be shy.

As you know... spot reduction is a myth so if you have high body fat content, then you'll need to reduce it. I would recommend HIIT - such as Body Attack class (whereby Paradigm doesn't have it, sorry).

You like dancing classes? yawn.gif nice, you can go for Sh'bam, Body Jam or Zumba. There's quite a lot of yoga classes as well and aerobics (HIIT) - Attack - you can join another club for the program. LesMills program are very fun and intense, you'll love them.

100% agree with you, I won't last a month if it's machine all the way sweat.gif not my type of a workout.
*
You sounded so professional. blush.gif blush.gif
how many years are you doing gym? notworthy.gif
Seems we can have very high chance to bump in each other in FF PM flex.gif

maybe her choice of routine......as you probably know, hardcore doesn't have a fixed routine.....different instructor will use different method......the only same thing is it starts with:

1. warmup
2. cardio
3. core
4. balance
*
is it very muscle tiring after done all the courses? unsure.gif
