Guys, just want to know. There's a software called "CORE TEMP" in xtremesystems forum which can detect your proc temp. Hv u guys tried this b4 bcoz, i'm getting 10c higher reading than any software (smartguardian, everest, sandra,mbm). Here's my experiment :
My proc TCaseMax is 55c. I always failed prime when my temp reach 44c-46c ( in smartguardian and mbm readout ). Even adding up vcore, using divider for RAM, still doesnt help. When i use CORE TEMP, it's actually 55c when prime start to fail. At my TCaseMax!

im so "gatal tangan" to OC again...lasttime just running 2.7 at stock vcore icon_rolleyes.gif ...so just playing around currently hit 2.9 at 1.55 thumbup.gif but 1.55 seems high already (CACJE makan voltage) sweat.gif ..trying 3.0 at the same vcore but the system randomly stuck doh.gif ..later will try increase the vcore n see how.. wink.gif

mine is CACJE 0607 xxxx . 2.9G @ 1.41v prime stable.

i dunno wat stepping are mine coz so malas to open heatsink, so this is wud i got for now with AMD stock cooler.... planning on Thermalright Ultra-120 in the future i think icon_question.gif

i found out even though opteron are same speed with athlon, maybe faster a bit at all application, i found that it's more stable compare to athlon, it wont hang... just my opinion, correct me if i am wrong...

They are a bit faster because of the 1mb L2 Cache. About stability, opterons are meant for server processor which is built to give the best reliability and stability.

ya, after i switch frm athlon to opteron, my comp never hang unless i oc it to high such as 3ghz...
