I think the iData plan will be revealed soon. I just viewed the page source code for the http://www.maxis.com.my/personal/iphone4/rates.asp website, and there are references to iData.

Here's a sample of the website code i copied and pasted:

if (str == 1)
{
document.getElementById("ivalue").style.display = "";
document.getElementById("header_ivalue").src = "images/rates/tab_iValue_on.gif";

document.getElementById("idata").style.display = "none";
document.getElementById("header_idata").src = "images/rates/tab_iData_off.gif";
}
else
{
document.getElementById("ivalue").style.display = "none";
document.getElementById("header_ivalue").src = "images/rates/tab_iValue_off.gif";

document.getElementById("idata").style.display = "";
document.getElementById("header_idata").src = "images/rates/tab_iData_on.gif";
}

Fingers crossed smile.gif

0.10 sens per SMS to other networks. the same rate for Maxis to Maxis, if you have exceeded the monthly free SMS quota.
*
But the thing is, their plan shows that the Free 200 SMS per month is ON NET. Means if someone sms outside Maxis network, its not free but chargeable. Correct?

And worst part is nowadays ppl switch carrier and retain their number
For all you know the 012 number is actually DIGI or CELCOM??

I hope more ppl adopt 4S and iOS5 so iMessage is FREE.
Then we save more.

agree. somehow if u change the sim from smartphone to normal cellphone. it will send u auto sms saying that your phone model u r using currently and it is able to support data, etc...

so i guess somehow they can track.

Last years outright buy is allowed only if you bought one with contract first. But it will be nice to share your experience if you manage to buy it this coming launch rclxms.gif

Regarding this T&C :

Rate Plan Terms & Conditions

1 In accordance to government ruling, port-in customers are not eligible to sign up for the iValue Plans with a 24 month contract.

I'm a DG Smart Plan 48 user currently, just started around September 2011. I'm interested in getting the iValue 100 for the iphone 4s, am I eligible to sign up for the iValue 100 - 24 months ? If not, can I just switch to postpaid of Maxis any day today or tomorrow, then after that apply for the iValue 100 -24 months. Is it possible?

Any one can shed a light ?

Many thanks in advance.

It's a Maxis wifi hotspot, similar to those in Starbucks but with a ridiculously small coverage only.

Last year I tried something I didn't thought I would try. I actually asked one family who happens to be lining up to sign for a plan, to tumpang him and buy one set.
Thankfully he agreed and I managed to buy mine outright. It was @ KLCC back then.

But of course, doing this may make you sound like an @ss, it all depends on how desperately you want the 4S. It's not like out of the hundreds who que up, all are getting 2 units. There's bound to be some that only purchase one.
