Purchase of an iPhone must be accompanied with any of the above rate plans. Maxis reserves the right to rescind some of the privileges of the rate plans should the registered line not be used with the purchased iPhone.

Just to make sure u guys aware....if u move ur SIM to use elsewhere...Maxis could change or penalize u on the package content if they found u not using it with iPhone

i not sure how many of u used smartphone long ago...
i already have such ping of telco related update since the day back i used Windows Mobile...
so yes...telco can track...n by all mean...they do hav....jz not enforcing....

yes, you will get charge separately for the off-net sms....

Maxis WIFI is something like TM hotspot, only thing is if you aware where is Maxis WIFI....

jz like assume that 9-12am open up queue at 7pm, so ppl queue to enter on 9pm
12-3am probably mayb start open for queue at 10pm...til near to 12am to enter...

that of coz possible....but if u r saying...u hav the ID for 12-3am....but u come to queue 7pm with the 9-12am session...that i don think acceptable...
again this is practice to help distribute crowd....if they do it right...u probably get denied entry...n asked to wait til ur session open...
if they din follow...probably u can sneak in...
but don blame if u come n queue with the earlier session and get denied....jz come few hour before ur session n wait the queue for it to start...

consider ur low usage....depends on u la....
if u wanna retain ur current plan....then hav to wait later to buy outright phone...
but since u use only few hundreds MB per month, vs iValue2 3GB (new/old)
its also a waste to pay 155 vs 100 for the quota u not using...
so if u stick wit ur plan....then wait outright 4S
or...if u plan to lower to cheaper plan...then get iValue1

i purchased and signed on 16....
and until today....I am still on my good old Value+50 + iData50!!!

called and said system only has this...no record on my purchase or changing to iValue1 ="=

I signed up on 16dec2011 for the iValue1 plan, somehow maxis staff's mistake and I did not get converted properly, stuck with my old 500MB for 3weeks before i get on with 1GB quota. but still, it is pro-rated, to the extent i actually getting only 600MB for that bill cycle period.
What worse, at their fault, but i am the one who bare with the contract activation delay, and now my contract period is delayed for 3weeks because of their fault!!!

called Maxis 123 and said they cant do anything as they already offer pro-rated quota, and I still have to pay my bill since I did not exceed my usage.... Hey, My personal usage should not contradict with what you should had been honored the customer with!! (600MB vs 1GB)

Now still thinking what can do to make them take the responsibility

can try to argue with them after that since u aware...but yes, u should had turn off cellular data too....
if u read there, it does says "Turn off cellular data to restrict all data to Wi-Fi, including email, browing and push notification.
I guess if u hav push turns on for apps, then even u disable roaming, it might still access bcoz of this...

the worst case is, try appeal n ask for discount lo...
