I've been maxis user since I started to use handphone 10yrs back. Yesterday went to KLCC signed up ivalue plan for iphone 4S and need to change my normal simcard to microsim. Surprisingly, they want to charge me RM25 for the so-called "sim card replacement" in their form (For existing Maxis user, if you're switching from other telco should be fine).

I told them are you insane to sell iPhone without bundle user with a FREE microsim and yet still impose a charge on that?!
This really make no sense and I asked them is this how you guys value your existing MAXIS user?

At last, the poor guy seek for his manager approval and waived this charges for me..

Just to share with you guys here as many times, most of us just let the telco charge whatever charges they want which I personally think it's ridiculous and doesn't make any sense.

Added on December 27, 2011, 10:02 amDude, say if your statement date is on every 15th of the month.
Meaning all your data/ charges will be reset on the 15th. Unbilled amount simply means the charges you incurred from the 15th till to-date; which is before the next statement date.

just now i also at klcc signing ip4s ivalue & the maxis guy did not charge me any fees for the microsim. he did not even mention anyting bout the RM25 charge.
i'm at counter 1 the indian guy.

haha, maybe yesterday got staff kena taruk case, so the manager give greenlight to all the staff to waive the RM25 fees w.i.e !

to tell u the truth, ive been to maxis KLCC accompany my friend and my lil brother for iphone 4 last year and not a single dime were charge for changing micro sim....

Maxis is on cost-cutting measure this round.

All iPhone 4 customers was provided with new miro-sim FOC instead of sim-cutting during last year launch.

I signed the I-Value plan 1 bout 6months. Was wondering how much penalty will be charge if want to terminate the contract now.

and until today....I am still on my good old Value+50 + iData50!!!

called and said system only has this...no record on my purchase or changing to iValue1 ="=

how can that me? i wasted for a good 30 mins at Convention centre waiting for them to upgrade my line from Value 50 to IValue1
