ivalue packages are all for principal lines....if your supplementary line wants to be made ivalue, then it has to become main (principal) line.

Yes, u can do so...but buying the iphone is considered outright...meaning no subsidised price for ip4s. U can buy the phone from apple store online at full retail pricing and get this supplementary data package...

In short, this supplementary data package is for line (data & calls) only...no phone.

Not too sure what u mean by switching main and supplementary line any charges......allow me to explain that calls and sms btwn main and sup line has free number of minutes and free number of sms (check maxis website to confirm number of free units). Also, IIRC main and sup line shares the free credits as well but that also for calls and sms only. For data, there's no sharing btwn main and sup line so lets say u on iValue 1 you have 1024Mb (1Gb) data usage per month, and you have sup line of 250Mb per month....you sup line cannot exceed the usage of 250Mb even though you still have balance in your main line.

If u did possibility is that Maxis made some mistake and did not activate your data plan yet....or they put you into a wrong plan which did not have data package. I believe you need to call Maxis (dial 123 from your maxis line) or visit maxis centre to clarify. Don't wait till month end when the bill comes to you....you will get a shock.

Oh I get what u mean now. Sup line can upgrade (change) to main line like ivalue no problems....no charges for changing but all standard iValue terms n conditions n charges applies.

For main line change to sup line, I believe it is not possible but rules may have changed, u wanna confirm with maxis ppl.

Last time, many years back, I did change a hotlink prepaid line to become one of my sup line and its possible.

You are required to pay RM100 for the remaining 6 months = RM600 and you are also required to pay the price difference of your phone (RRP - subsidised amount).

iValue Plan only applicable to primary account. Meaning, once your supplementary select ivalue plan, he/she will be unbolted from your mainline account.

Am gonna convert my iValue100 plan to Surfmore50 plan after my contract expires this month. Gonna save RM600 a year and still have 2Gb monthly data quota. I don't do much calls/sms anyway.

Then getting my ip5 outright probably from Apple Store online.
