QUOTE(OldSchoolJoke @ Mar 8 2016, 10:21 AM) Hi guys, last 2 weeks I've subscribed to the Digi SmartPlan 75. You still have enough bandwidth quota?I'm getting H+ signal but then I couldn't load any website like I'm not even subscribe to the SP75. And when I try to send message using WhatsApp, the sending and receiving messages is slow. Tried to restart my phone and it works well, but then the next day, it back to the same problem. Anyone knows the reason? Thanks in advance. |

QUOTE(WhitE LighteR @ Mar 9 2016, 07:35 PM) The switch is finally complete. The speed test in my office is not great. On 4G its about 10mbps vs 50mbps on maxis. Sometimes can reach 20mbps. Their building penetration is also not great. Overall its usable still. Just need to ignore all the imperfections. I think 10mbps speed is still good enough for all browsing and social activities on a smartphone. More important for DiGi to expand 4G LTE coverage and maintain consistency in its network quality. Then they will be a real value for money provider. |

QUOTE(WhitE LighteR @ Mar 10 2016, 09:05 AM) I notice that on my note 5, Digi can't connect to 4g+ Even if Maxis has 4G+ in that area does not mean DiGi will have it. Have you checked at DiGi's website whether 4G+ is available for that area?Best is only 4g. I used to be able to get 4g+ on Maxis Area is PJ n Bukit Jalil |

QUOTE(nexona88 @ Mar 23 2016, 12:27 PM) For port-in they will not collect an advance payment as the porting might not be successful so it makes no sense to collect any payment for port-in customers. The advance payment will be collected for new subscribers (new number) or those who are existing customers who wish to change to another plan. |

QUOTE(goliath @ Mar 23 2016, 02:31 PM) Hhmm... That's weird. Not sure about DiGi's procedure but my comment was responding to those who are commenting about Celcom.I've asked them (Digi) via email about MNP and fees for one of their plans (Digi Postpaid 68). According to them, they will collect advance payment and it will be credited back on first month bill. |

It's time for other telcos to follow DiGi on the throttled speed after exceeding the monthly quota. Most telcos cap speed at around 64kbps which is almost unusable. At 512kbps, it is back like Streamyx days but at least should still be usable.
