1) I am still using Digi Prepaid Plus. Do you still remember what is the call rate and sms rate? Need these info to compare with Digi Best Prepaid (to be able to use Super Long Life) but cant find it anymore.

2) For Digi Best Prepaid, the first 15 FnF numbers are confirmed free? http://www.digi.com.my/prepaid/services_fnf.do

3) For Digi Best Prepaid, what is the sms rate to non-Digi non-FnF number?http://www.digi.com.my/prepaid/plan_hit1.do

4) For Digi Best Prepaid, what is the call rate to non-Digi non-FnF number before hitting RM1?http://www.digi.com.my/prepaid/plan_hit1.do

Pretty confusing.

Best

2) Yes, the first set of FnF numbers are free to add - 11 DiGi and 4 non-DiGi line

3, 4) Basic sms rate is 10 sens (this also applies to non-DiGi FnF numbers) and basic call rate is 36 sens/min (30-second charging block)

Prepaid Plus

I'm really not sure the rates now. This plan used to have horrendous outstation rates up to RM2.40/min, but that may have been reduced now to the Beyond Rate of RM1.20/min [or even less?].

One good point on this plan was the smaller charging block, which may make short (10-20 seconds) local calls cheaper than under the latest plans.

Overall, it's worth changing to Best without any doubts.

Your testimonial is good enough for me. I just changed to Best Prepaid biggrin.gif Thanks!
My FnF counter didnt reset when I changed the plan. Only free for the first 6 numbers. Additional have to pay RM2.00. Just chat with CS, it is because I have used up 14 free changes doh.gif

I am using Digi prepaid and have about RM300 credits. I would like to get a phone + package by Digi. Is there any way I can:

1) Keep the same number and contact list
2) Transfer my RM300 value to a new prepaid credit or use it to offset a postpaid charge?

Thank you.

I thought phone + package is a postpaid plan?

1) Can keep same number but contact list you have to manage yourself as it will change a new SIM card for you.
2) Can use that offset in your future bills (if they still allow these days)

Thanks. There are quite a no of package nowadays and i get confuse easily. As for no (2), so it is true that there is something like this (as informed by a friend) but need to check whether it is still existing or not. TQ.

I bought a new phone and had to cut to microsim. Unfortunately, the new phone cannot read the sim so i had to get a new microsim from digi. So my contact list is inside the old sim.

However, now i cannot insert it back to the old phone becasue it is already cut. Not able to get a microsim adapter so far.

Would digi center be able to retrieve my contact list inside my old simcard? and if yes, how are they going to pass the list of numbers to me?

Thanks

Thank you.

At Digi website, it states i can send sms if i am roaming with certain operators (non malaysian). Does this mean I have to get their sim card?

I used to be able to receive SMS without doing anything last year, but in my recent trip, I was not able to receive any SMS (which is triggered when I used my credit card).

The new terms state that FREE Birthday Bonusâ„¢ talktime credit will expire after thirty (30) days, starting from the date of receival.

Since it starts effective from 1 August 2013, will my free credit expire within 30 days too if it was received/activated BEFORE 1 August 2013?

As far as I know, the rules on bonus expiry actually changed on 01 March 2013. What was added 01 August was the new  top up requirement of RM30 to qualify for birthday bonus. Pointless to ask DG as they will be as clueless as the rest of us. Assume the worst, most of us already suffered our free credit being forfeited at the end of June, without any prior notice.

Alright thanks. Still have 3 weeks or so for me till expiry date then sad.gif

is your birthday bonus remained till now?

i also got caught by surprised by the new 30day validity (which render meaningless for saving up those free talktime bonuses anymore). Nowadays i always check on their web n do research in attempt to apply any of their ancient offerings (i only do 365 n Bday bonus), bcoz DG no longer play by rules (their rules r meant to be broken, by themselfs doh.gif )

Yup, I just used them all about 3 days ago. Maybe its a glitch in their system but hopefully it remains this way

After waiting two weeks and sending a reminder yesterday, finally I got this answer from DG today:

Kindly be informed that the difference between DiGi Best Prepaid V3 and V4 is that Best Prepaid V4 will enjoy lower IDD 133 rates and also entitle to subscribe to super long life service. The domestic calls and SMS rates are the same.

Luckily I found this post. Tried to reload super long life but no option available. So paid RM3 to upgrade to v4. Really no catch or hidden fee for this v4?
